That's an incredible stat. Just incredible.

We're the worst thing the world's ever seen, Spurs (and good old 'Arry) are a absolutely world class joy to behold, and we'd only be 3 points behind them And only 5 behind Halfabillion City.

Shows you what an utter farce the PL is just at the moment. And it also shows you why it's absolutely crucial that Roy ****s off ASAP - such is the idiotic and daft nature of this league, a quality manager could potentially still get us back into the top 4.

Never going to happen though. Even if Bolton win 4-0, Hodgson will still be Liverpool manager next week.

Meireles and Lucas are a good pairing, Gerrard and Cole are where they should be and Maxi deserves his place. Shame about Konchesky It'll be interesting to see what he does with the defence once Johnson is back. If it was me I would drop Carra and keep the Greek in
Much as i rate Johnson, i'd keep Carra at RB until Glenda's sorted his head out.

Not entirely convinced of that, myself.

I said to a mate of mine, the best thing that could've happened was us getting an absolute thrashing in Napoli the other week - i think a proper battering would seal his fate, and if it had come in Naples, we could still recover in the group and qualify, thus rendering the effects of such a result meaningless.

Unfortunately, a battering in the league (unlike in Naples, if it had happened) would actually hurt us.

I agree with you Craig, all is not lost if Hodgson is ****ed off asap. But he should have been sacked before the Bolton game to give us any chance of winning tomorrow. As it is I think we will drop points and so failed to take advantage of City and Spurs losing.

Yep. Sounds crazy but I read dww post the same thing earlier - I think a reproduction of last season's level of performance would have us in the top four. Spurs are 5th with 15 points from 10 games. 15 points from a possible 30 is ****. Not sure how many we had after 10 games last season but regardless, last season's crap would've had us in good shape this season.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

We took 18 points from our first 10 games last season - so yeah, based on that same form, we'd currently be 4th - and last season was ****e for us as well, it wasnt even upto scratch.

Just the same as how, if we'd produced our form of 2008-2009 LAST season, we'd have won the title.

We'd move above at LEAST 4 other sides with a win tomorrow.

If we won by a big enough margin, we could move up 8 positions - but that'd require a goal by 6 goals or more

Funny - seem like Hodgson has been able to erase Agger totally from everybody mind. He is just nowhere suggested to take part tomorrow - not even questioned why not. Simply - Hadgson will not use him in the first team unless he has 7-8 injuries in the defense (below Carra, Skirtls, Kyriagos, Wilson, Kelly, Konchesky, Aurelio and ??).

Agger is also behind Kvarme in the pecking order

                      And Babb. And Ruddock

                        Maybe even Torben Piechnik

                          Depressing really.

Isn't he injured after playing for Denmark?

I agree with all that Will but I'm not sure he'll drop Carra completely but there are times when I think he should be used more like Sami was towards the end. A good LB and we'd look strong once everyone finds their form and understands what the gaffa wants
