    Worrying stat

    • Liverpool have not had a league goal that was not either scored or assisted by Steven Gerrard or Fernando Torres since the opening day of the season

Time for our overpaid and underperforming players to step out the shadow of the big two and stake a claim of being worthy of wearing our illustrious colours.

The time for excuses and hiding behind off-field worries has passed. The short term future of our club is in their hands and they must step up and face that responsibility with the excitement of knowing that they can make a difference to how millions of fans feel about this club at 6 pm tomorrow and beyond.

Three unanswered goals will be a good start. And take it from there.

We've only scored about 3 goals so it's not as worrying as first thought

A very Roy interpretation of that statistic.

I've read today that LFC have had more headed shots on target (11) than any other PL club this season (via thisisanfield on Twitter). I have no idea if I find it worrying though.

I think it highlights our only goal threat comes from set-pieces.

Our over-reliance on Gerrard and Torres comes as no surprise, but Joe Cole needs to start chipping in and with time and it does look as if Meireles has a few goals in him.

There's enough things to worry about without this

Courtesy of Rushian on RAWK. When we play Bolton on Sunday, it will be 442 days since Hodgson's last away victory.

This could be seen as fuelling the press and Hodgson's argumment. I.e the squad that Rafa left is not up to scratch.
                      Oh I don't know.

What about Joe Coles assist last week for Torres' goal against Blackburn?

Yea but wasnt the issue of this thread that only Gerrard and Torres are either scoring or assisting the goals?
