To me Roy makes Rafa look like a saint

Rafa's beef was only ever with the owners which frankly was a cause worth standing up and fighting for

Roy's beef is with EVERYTHING but himself hes like a wounded animal backed into a corner and lashing out at everything and everybody

Its pathetic, as if the stuff on the pitch wasnt a damning enough indictment of his tenure we now have to cope with daily sound bites from someone who makes Comical Ali look a realist

I think it boils down to self belief. Rafa didn't feel he had to justify anythng to anyone as he has won big trophies, is a big manager and coveted by the best teams in the world during his managerial tenure. He has **** all to prove. He knew what he was doing was the right way or 100% believed it be right.

Roy on the other hand lacks self belief, he has to justify himself as he is punching way above his weight. Its everyone else's fault not his.....Sick of jim dragging this club down to his level

well ... honestly, that doesn't matter to me. the club, imho at least, should always present themselves as one. not a bunch of individuals who are constantly mobbing each other.

i agree, roy does come across like wounded animals. given that he probably learned that the job's above him, that seems sensible

but i can't help but feel that rafa constantly felt the need to explain and defend himself as well towards the end of his tenure. i alwalys felt that he thought that his work and his achievements weren't really appreciated and in a way laughed upon by those outside the club.

I think Rafa towards the end was tired.....tired of the politics, tired of the yanks etc. And with all the media bull**** I think everyone has to have a snapping point and there was so much lies and crap written about him only natural to get defensive on occasions.

The thing is the fans were never in support of Parry, the owners nor Ferguson...

Now the only thing that seems to cause uproar is the rather disagreeable manager we have in charge who has so far lashed out at the fans for protesting against the owners, the former manager for leaving him a squad that is relegation fodder, a Liverpool legend for daring to apply for the job, Torres for underperforming

The only person he hasnt blamed for our league position is the person who is mostly to blame... himself

Rafa was one of us and had such a close relationship with us fans that has not been seen since King kenny was manager. Now this old duffer is trying to turn us against Rafa. Rafa gave me my greatest ever memory of being an LFC fan since the king was in charge and all Roy has done is given me the worst footballing memory of being an LFC fan.
