I can`t find anything in any papers about this, so I wouldn`t put to much in it. But if it`s Stordalen again I wouldn`t get my hopes up to much. He`s is nowhere rich enough, and mote importantly, not a red as far as I know.

Reading this comment got me thinking, does the person who takes over have to be a red?

Now I know it would be great if they were a red and all, but Rafa wasn't a red before he came to us, but thats because he was here to manage us, that was his job, and as a result he knows a lot about LFC now and i'd guess he'll always have a special connection with us wherever he goes in the future.

At the moment we've a fan at the helm who doesn't seem to have the business accumen to be doing the right deals, and he doesn't seem to have the contacts.

If we get someone in who is proven in the business world, and is good at what they do, but isn't an LFC fan at the moment, then is that such a bad thing?

I don`t think they need to be a Red, but it would help.
When I said he wasn`t a Red I said it to highlight that I can`t see any big advantages with him coming into the club.
There is always the chance that we`re talk about another norwegian this time, and as I said there is nothing in the news (sports/finance/gossip) about this. Liverpool.no hasn`t mentioned it at all so far.

I get ya, but I was just bringing up the point in general, because a lot seems to have ben mentioned about how the potential new owner should be a red etc, and I don't think that's necessarily true.

Actually I think the chances that a boyhood Red will come in and "save" the club are pretty small. The best we can hope for, and be realstic, are someone that love football and want "join" the fun.
The worst, IMO, would be someone that sees the club as a short-term money making investment.
