    Steven Gerrard

How different would the last decade have been without this man ?

Legend. Hero. Possibly the greatest player ever to wear the red shirt.

Fantastic player, but I wish he'd get a captains armband to fit him properly.

It's harsh on him, but I suspect history will judge it pretty much in that way. In days when photographs are all in 3d, the lack of Gerrard lifting the trophy images will count against him when compared to Kenny. I mean, 8 League Titles, 2 FA Cups, 3 European Cups, 4 League Cups, and a European Super Cup in total. Kenny will always be the biggest legend in our history with a record like that, and will therefore be regarded as the best player, rightly or wrongly; he achieved a lot of that as manager.

          Anyway, waffling.

Spot on. I mean all kenny needed to do was win the European Cup as a Manager, he won everything as a player

The emergence of Owen, Carra and Gerrard have prevented us from becoming an average side and helped put us back on the map in Europe.

Some people might say Billy Liddell was one of the greatest Liverpool players and he didn't win anything.
