I think if someone has a go at him he is entitled to defend himself.
Indeed. People have to ask themselves this - if someone starts attacking you, including telling porkies (Dalglish), would you sit back like a complete pussy and say nothing, or would you have a go back?

Anyway this has been covered - Rafa put Hodgson back in his box and Hodgson apologised ...whether it was of his own volition or whether he was forced to - either of which are a bit embarrassing for our fêted manager.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Like when he got too big for the club and fecked off to Italy? Noone is perfect.

The old saying no one is bigger than the club quote goes out of the window regards Rafa .....he does seem to be bigger than the club,He has left the club yet still hovers around Liverpool fc as if he was still here as manager[and that was not implied as a dig at him before i get ambushed by his followers]

He should just keep his gob shut and get on with things at Inter.

Any way i was only sticking up for Rushie
If the people telling Rafa to be quiet take their own advice I'm sure Rafa will button it and we can all move on. And whilst it is commendable sticking up for a legend of the club, I thinks it's a tad harsh to have a go at Rafa for reacting to comments made by Roy when they are clearly slating him.
          Forwards.......

I think he was the one ****ed of to Italy as opposed to being the one decking off to Italy. And that only ever came about because of him constantly holding the owners accountable for their actions.

And I think Hicks made it pretty clear towards the end he had no intention of selling the club and wanted a yes man for the long haul.

                my bad.

Rushie went to line his pockets, can't really fault him for that as the wages were nowhere near the level of Italy then.

If he had bothered to find out if Rafa had said if he made mistakes or not then it would have been ok. Now he just acts like a [b]bitter ex player[\b] having a go at a foreign manager.

Another ex player that acts like an idiot.
lol how can you call Rushie Bitter?

Maybe you should follow your own advice and shut up! Your sound like a bitter fan bleating for a manager who doesn't work for the club anymore. Move on and get over Raffa.

Mind you, he is a legend and was a goal machine, but he's one of the thickest blokes I've ever come across.
Really fed up of ex players coming out with this ****e.

Exactly, these people pull out **** like Roy is more honourable...MY ARSE!!

From what i've seen it's Rafa that's been reactive to comments..yet HE gets slated..****in crazy ****!

Have a listen to Hodgsons comments about clubs he was sacked from...honourable is NOT the word...he's even slagged off whole nations just because a journo asked a question he didn't like....ffs are people blind.

But as soon as Rafa pipes up to defend himself he gets jumped on by a bunch of hypocritical fools....some could play football...but that's no excuse !!!
