I think the game today shows that it is totally up to the players how we play. Roy don't have a clue.

If the players are up for it like against Chelsea(top club) then we have a great chance but when the players aren't up for it like today against Wigan(bottom club) then we have almost no chance at all.

No disrespect to Shelvey and Eccleston, but the substitutes that came on today illustrated the problem, they are not the players to bring on in situations like these.

I'm fearing that we perhaps have thrown away some of the confidence build up in the last 4-5 games. It must be pretty fragile with a team like ours at the moment, but I hope it isn't the case.

I honestly don't know what Hodgson expects to achive by keeping this bloody awfull tactic runing. It is currentyl down to Torres and Gerrard to save his managerial arse from a whooping every single time. They are the only creative force in that team, and they have to produce something special for us to get any chances in a game. Useless this is.

Was the only point during the match where i raised a smile. He seemed to just clap furiously and shout 'Come on' a couple of times....sunday pub football style. Laughable.

A point gained. Wigan aren't as bad as people think at home. Shelvey not ready that's for sure.

I think that's the worst i've ever seen us play. However, when Gerrard moved up with Torres they seemed to at least have a little spark and press Wigan's backline.....you just know they were doing it off their own back rather than under instruction though.

Torres looked hugely ****ed off at the end. If Roy doesnt go soon all the good work achieved under Rafa will be lost forever. Surely Comolli will be telling NESV that performance was unacceptable and he needs to go.
