Is he back in the A-league. Pity, he had the skill to be a top player, but far too lazy.

Nick Carle - isn't he the one that was highly rated and expected to be a better player than Harry Kewell?

He was highly related but I don't think people thought he would be better then Harry. He was phenomenal in his second season of the A-League, basically singlehandedly took that Newcaslte team from last at the start of the season to win the comp. Unfortunately after a bright start at Palace things went down hill. Most managers don't like to play football the way he likes to play, which is basically in a 4-3-1-2 with the ball constantly going through the trequarista.

I'll most likely get crucified for this... But a straight swap... Torres for Tevez???

There are untold players we were so close to bringing in but got ****ed at the last minute..... Arshavin, Chamahk, Ronaldo... the list goes on.

Torres problem is he's getting zero service because our team has no forward motion thinking. You put Tevez there and not much will change.

Silva is a better player than Johnson and is more effective than Johnson. Most of their attacking moves are through Silva. Take him out and put Adam Johnson in and they'll struggle.

Put both of them in and you'll have one hell of a front four with Johnson,Silva,Balotelli/Milner behind Tevez.

Our biggest problem that needs sorting out before we think about sorting the wide play out is the movement off the ball and stopping some players hiding during the match.

Well sorry, but Johnson HAS been more effective than Silva. He just has, that's pretty much fact.

At the moment, Silva's playing and Johnson generally isnt - and they ARE struggling.

He can't as the facts show Silva is better. Silva is only one year older than Johnson too. Anyhow this thread was about Jarvis! It soon changed lol.

I dont know what you are talking about mate but I do have City fans on my twitter who keep saying that Silva is the only reason they've at least picked up a few points of late. Most of their chances are created by and through him.

Guess you only saw AJ/Silva early in the season when AJ was on fire and Silva still adapting.

Trying watching the last few MOTDs. All City attacks thru Silva. Very effective in fact.

You can keep harping on about Silva being better (your username is a giveaway, btw)...and perhaps he is. But in terms of actual performances for City so far, Johnson has proved more effective for them.

                                Thanks for the patronising tone.

Maybe if Johnson was actually getting to play, he'd do more - like he did, when he played.
