Johnson is trying to get into an England team, until last season he was playing in the lower leagues, and has what 2 or 3 caps for England? He's a year younger.

I've not said anything about who's won what. I'm not even saying one is better than the other. I just think Johnson has been more effective so far, for Man City. Why cant i have an opinion? It's mental.

For what it's worth, Fernando Morientes had won everything too, yet he didnt succeed in england. Oh - and Djimi Traore has a CL winners medal too...

Silva has been hit and miss, he has rarely excelled but he is still adapting. AJ is a different type of player to Silva. He attacks the full back and causes teams problems that way. Silva is more intelligent, picking holes through teams with clever littles passes and movement.

Personally I'd play both as it would give you variation in attack and both can play on either wing so they could be switched to keep the opposition guessing in game.

On the subject of whose most been effective, AJ started better but hasn't been backed by Mancini and his form has tailed off. Complete opposite for Silva who is getting better.
