I really think this game is showing why Glen Johnson should be right wing. He has been outstanding going forward. Still not convinced he can defend.

How dare he celebrate so wildly.

Not saying he's not allowed to celebrate, just commenting on how much it seemed to mean to him. A lot more than you would think.

Pretty much any threat today came from the right side and involved him.
yup think thats why so many of us would love to see him at RM, he really will get tested defensively against Bale, dreading it a bit to be honest.

Defenitely but between him, Kelly or Carra our chances of handling Bale and VDV imo are still the best with Glen.

NGog needs to learn to stay on his feet. Has a habit of falling over trying to win free kicks.

Thats why its important to turn bale and show up his dodgy defending too.

How well he'll do it will depend how much help he will get from Lucas and Kuyt.

To be honest I'm more concern with our left side for that game as Lennon will make a fool out of Konk.

                          Bit premature.

Anyway, he's hardly facing any resistance at all, or any threat at all.

I disagree. He is really making things possible for us and he certainly deserves a credit.

By the way, why always splitting hairs and looking for ways to criticize his performance (or labeling opponent as crap) when he is playing well?

Hard to believe Grant came within a kick of winning the Champions League.
