    But then roy stepped in

Agree about Torres too, he's acting like a spoilt brat and as if he's much better and bigger than anyone at LFC, or the club itself - based on his performances this season, he really isnt.
I kind of sympathise with Torres though

We just dont play to his strengths no wonder he cuts such a frustrated figure

I know where you're coming from Lecter, but there's just no excuse for lack of effort. Or sulking off down the tunnel.

If he was on 20 grand a year maybe.

But not when he's on about that much a day.

And against West Ham he should have been going all out to get on the scoresheet but he was switched off and half hearted.

He can be frustrated off the pitch. It's not going to improve for him by not putting in the graft.

Oh what you mean like Gerrard stopped sulking last year

Torres will go, there is absolutely no doubt about that now

Frankly if I was him (under current circumstances) I'd be looking to go as well

The football is ****ing dire and as a forward it is an absolute thankless task playing under Roy

            Money doesnt come into it

As for West Ham when did we give him any real service, we didnt

Its very difficult to motivate yourself when the team is not playing to your strengths and the manager is someone you dont respect either as a person or as a tactician

Gerrard's behaviour last year was nothing like Nando's this year.

There are some serious agendas against SG around here.

                ****ing rubbish

                Exactly the same thing

I love Gerrard as a player but his attitude last season ****ing stank just like Nando's does this season

                Absolutely no difference

The only thing you can say is that last season I have no idea why the **** Gerrard was sulking. Ok admittedly after the poor start I could possibly sympathise with him (as I do with Torres now) but Gerrard sulked from day one last year which was odd particularly after we had just finished 2nd

Gerrard is the best player we have had in the last decade and one of the greatest players we have ever had

I dont want him sold under any circumstances (even if he was involved in sacking Rafa and backing the appointment of Roy). Yes even that wouldnt tip the balance for me

It would be madness to sell him he should retire at LFC (so I dont agree with those that say we would be better off without him)

So your agenda thing doesnt wash

Gerrard sulking is exactly the same as Torres sulking. The only difference is I cant really understand why Gerrard was such a sulky cunt from the very beginning of last season. Whereas I look at Torres and can sympathise with him because we have appointed a ****e manager who peddles **** tactics that have delivered **** results and the tactics themselves leave Torres isolated and without playing to his strengths

Oh, so Gerrard would rush off down the tunnel whenever he was subbed? He'd not join in with goal celebrations last season, yeah?

                  Actually, no.

They're all spoilt brats. Should try their best week in, week out regardless. They get paid enough.

I agree Lecter, but three people had scored in the first half against West Ham. What justification was there for him to be switched off yesterday?

No Gerrard just stood about last season ****ing moaning at his teammates even when his own passes were going astray

Very poor that Craig, absolutely no difference in their attitudes both petulant all I said was that I could sympathise with Torres because I'd struggle to be motivated playing under Roys system if I was him

Your argument would be valid IF the goals scored were all goals that he would normally thrive on

First goal came from a set piece, second from a penalty and the third goal was partly created by a run from Torres

I remember reading a book on Torres that included an interview with Cannavaro. He was talking about Torres saying at Atletico he was too soft mentally and that going to Liverpool changed him massively because they played to his strengths. The quote was something like Torres is a horse he likes to run about in open spaces and that Benitez’s system played very much on that premise. Torres should be our fulcrum he should be given balls into areas he can run into and then get support to him or around him from the midfielders

We have not done that anywhere near often enough and on the odd occasions we have it has invariably led to him scoring

The general play is ****ing lumping hopeful balls for him to put his head onto

I don’t agree with his behaviour but I can understand and sympathise with his frustrations playing under Roy’s system because it doesn’t play to his strengths

Gerrard had moments last year, but also had postive moments where he celebrated with his team mates and displayed unity.

Torres, this season, is a loner. No evidence of team ethic, just completely all about himself. Doesnt celebrate goals, loses the ball and doesnt chase back or close down defenders, comes off and goes straight down the tunnel, as if he's too good to sit on with the others on the bench.

He needs to remember that he hasnt exactly been Pele this season and should be working his arse off to help turn things around, not stropping off and being lazy.

To be fair to Nando. Check out him celebrating the goals against Chelsea. He bloody loved it then

**** off Craig showing unity by bollocking teammates when it was he himself who ****ed up? Gerrard was abysmal last year his attitude ****ing stunk and what is more he blamed those around him for his own shocking failings

                                So Torres didnt celebrate yesterday

FLMAO at accusing him of not chasing the ball and not closing down player - have you ****ing watched us this season - NOBODY does that not one player

I dont agree with him going down the tunnel thats wrong BUT frankly if I had to sit in close proximity to Roy I'd probably strangle the ****er
