The top 10 would be Terry,Vidic,Kompany,Ferdinand etc followed by Cahill,Jones,Jags,Lescott,Dawson,Collocini et al. Even Carra would get in ahead of him. Along with Lucas he's now the last player I'd flog TBH. Still 26 too I think.

A good thing, dont want any cunt club coming around thieving him. Not that he'd leave, but I like the current situation. He knows he's brilliant, we know it, that'll do!

I am always more confident when Agger is in the side , my favourite player just a pity injuries always seem to haunt him , 2 excellent assists in the last 2 cameo's , not easy headers either , in fact worldie is the word for those headers , MUST start Saturday

TBF, I think that's mainly in part to his injury record. Although he's been much better on that front this year, our poor forms means it's unlikely he'll get much recognition.

What is criminal is how one of his managers couldn't see his quality.

He is one of the best CBs in the world atm.

Not too many are better than him but it's his injury record that prevents him from getting the right recognition.

I have always rated Agger (not that I'm alone here) I always remember the 2007 champs league semi. First leg Agger was hammered by Drogba, given a bit of a lesson. Second leg Agger upped his game came back fighting and took his game to a higher level. Had Drogba in his pocket, and still found time to score a goal. He is a winner, a warrior, and also a classy footballer, which other CB you can think of has the ability to hammer one in the top corner from 30 yards.

I then loved it when Agger came out and spoke up against Hodgson. At this point he was defending the actual style of football that Liverpool stand for. It needed to be said and Agger (alone) said it.

Then, to top it all, when our star striker abandoned ship and joined Chelsea, a move which devastated everyone attached to the club (at the time), who showed us how we should really feel about it? Yep. Agger, smashed Torres in the face first chance he got and dominated him all game. Agger is a winner. And Torres, you could argue has never been the same since.

He is the future captain of our club, he is ****ing great

Great summary, I hadn't remembered the Bodge thing, I remember the relief I felt when - finally - someone from the club mentioned it, unsurprisingly Gerrard and Carra kept their mouths shut!

And that Torres reducer was wicked, didn't **** around there. Someone on here's got the gif as their avatar!

I know it's only 2 games and he was a sub in both, but it's interesting for me that we haven't lost either game since he's been back and involved.
