The article isn't claiming that we are trying to sell Agger - it says that Barca has shown a real interest in him.

Well, yes.

I'm just of the opinion that if we were to sell Agger, Rodgers is starting to lose a strong foundation for him to build his team. He's addressing our attack, but to have to address our defence because we either sell Agger or Barcelona buy him ... well, it's a lot of upheaval.

I think most of us are just getting our chat on because of rumours, whether there is an element of truth to them or not - just to pass the time. Personally, I think it's Agger working a nice deal into his new contract.

In a team like stoke hed be dynamite. They could build their team around him and with his delivery he could help them a lot.

I'd be shocked if we got as much as £10m, I think we'll get back what we paid for him though (£7m?!).

I think it's very difficult to put a market value on Adam. Take a look at his career - keep in mind he's 26 (?) now - and I think what we paid for him was probably a trifle on the high side.

Maybe, just maybe players like Adam, Henderson and dare I say it Downing have a much more productive second season. Whatever, come December there will be nowhere to hide for them and at least we will know for sure if they have a future here or not.

Downing and henderson will definitely have better seasons because they work hard are disciplined and dont have ideas above their station. Adam im not sure hes capable of changing his mindset.
