Obviously Agger is pure class and we'd all be gutted to lose him. But £25-£30 million for an injury prone defender would be too good to turn down in my opinion. That's if he wants to go of course. Hopefully he stays.

I'd miss him, he's one of my favourite players, but we'd replace him and move on. I think these links at the moment make us feel a bit helpless because we know we're not at the level we should be, we've seen so many of our best players leave already and wonder if we can get decent replacements. We haven't done that with anyone who has left so far, so it really is a worry.

I'm torn.

I've argued that Arsenal should bite the hand of any potential suitor for RVP as no way will he have another season like last year (injury ways and probably form too).

Surely the same logic should apply to Agger though.

The point is we cant sell players as they hit there peak particularly when there isn't exactly an abundance of talent at the club in that position right now.
