I wouldn't. But let's be honest, if Roy was to be sacked, wouldn't he have done it by now?

And if the problem is we are waiting until the end of the season for the new man, then we are stuck with Roy as I have suggested. And as such, we may as well write this season off, as I have also suggested.

I just can't understand why they wouldn't give Kenny a shot. Nothing to lose.

I think there are a few factors: firstly Kenny has been out of management for 10 years. Roy keeps telling us his methods for years ago still work, which clearly they don't, this shows the game has moved on. Secondly Kenny doesn't have his own backroom staff or people around he he can trust/confide in (with the possible exception of Sammy Lee). Thirdly there is the cost issue, we would essentially be paying two managers Hodgson would get a pay off, and Dalglish would get a pay rise. Forthly Kenny might not want to do the job, or if he does he might not want to give it up at the end of the season.

Now for me none of these would be a deal-breaker, but they might give the owners/board cause for concern.

Roy has been an appalling manager for LFC no doubts but he did come into an absolute mess.

NESV have a massive job on their hands, Roy will eventually get himself the bullet IMO, i'm more concerned about the additions made to the squad in January and hoping that we are still remotely within range of the Champs League spots by that time.

Maybe your missing my point. I'd gamble a safe mid table finish under Hodgson for a 4th place under someone else, even if it meant things could get worse than they are.
