    Upcoming fixtures

    Newcastle (A)
    Utrecht (H) - Europa
    Fulham (H)
    Blackpool (A)
    Wolves (H)
    Bolton (H)
    Blackburn (A)
Man Utd (A) - FA Cup
    Everton (H)
    Wolves (A)
    Stoke (H)

If Roy was ever going to build on a win and put together a really good run, the time has to be now.

In all honesty the only tough league game there is Everton at home. Bolton are likely the only other side who will finish in the top half of the table.

A great run of games which takes us right into February and the business end of the season. We really should be in contention for a top 4 finish around that time. And whilst we may not finish there as the tougher run of fixtures start, I would be annoyed if we're not up there.

Its annoying we're not already up there to be honest. We've thrown points away at places like Spurs, etc, already. We usually mess up away from home so don't hold unrealistic hopes (expectations yes, we're LFC, but not hopes).
    One tit for another.

I'm not looking any further then Newcastle. 3 points there and then I'll look at the next one.

And tbh Roy should still leave regardless of results

we have beaten a piss poor villa and west ham.

Still think we are a million miles away from 4th under Roy. We are 7 pts behind city now.

and tht is such an easy fixture list....although it does include 4 away games.....

By looking at the schedule pretty much all winnable games except Mancs but winning away and winning in a row is not in Roy's DNA.

Can we have Dannyman put into the stocks, and the rotten fruit readied please?

Everton, Blackpool & Stoke. Should've won all three, and would've been level on points with united. It's not the results of those 3 though, it's the fact that we never looked likely to win any of the games. However, we've beaten Chelsea convincingly and were unlucky to draw with Arsenal. We came away from games against united and Spurs having been the better side. It's not as bad as it looks, and I think Roy's starting to put the players in the mindset to trust their own game and to play to our strengths. At Fulham it was about stopping superior opponents from playing their own game, now he's learning slowly that we're able to play our own game and that they should fear us.

Seriously though, if Roy really is going to ever do anything at LFC, he has to be looking at winning the vast majority of those games. Win some points and sign some players in January and we could have a good finish to the season.

I'd rather we had a new manager in for the run, but we know Roy is here until the end of the season so I at least try and be positive about somethings.

We aint ever gonna be in the mindset where we go into away games expecting to win - and that is exactly why he has to go.

                            Man Utd out played us.

Spurs deserved their win, though we should have made it 2-0 before they levelled. And as Andy Gray said today, Roys toughest problem is AWAY from home.

As he said, a draw away for Fulham is great news, at LFC that is not acceptable, we need to be going for the win. And I don't see why we can't go and win away from home.

And that is the major problem. But he has the easiest run of away games he's ever likely to get. Win those and the mind set may switch.
