I used to quite like the fact that we had some ex lfc players all over the place as pundits. a reminder of the good old days if you like.

but now i wish they'd basically all just **** off. seems like constantly putting the boot in to benitez. whilst im not privy to how rafa alientated people and my gut feeling is that he must have done this pretty badly given how many seem to be fine with him leaving.
surely there's no need to rubbish the achievements of his time with us where what we did achieve was done under difficult circumstances. Then at the same time, they're constantly lauding the smallest of successes from the worst post-war manager we have seen.

its quite baffling to be honest.

As I said. I should have posted it in the jokes, links and funnies forum. It is comedy value, nothing more nothing less. I just laughed at it.

Some of our ex players acts like idiots and Lawro is acting like the Scum fan he is.

If lawro ever mentions anything about the world being round, I'll be joining my local Flat Earth Society. The man is a disgrace to football pundits, those with facial hair and closet homosexuals everywhere?

Who was N'gog confined to the scrapheap under Rafa?? Maybe Babel was, but one decent performance from Babel doesn't mean that Roy is getting the best out of him, he's put in the odd good performance previously, we need to see him put in good performances consistantly before assessing him. Also weren't people saying Babel was one of the people being made a scapegoat by Hodgson for the Northamption defeat??
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

The only real part of what he says there, that may have a grain of truth in it, is the part about Rafa making his mind up about players - i do think that's quite true and that when Rafa loses faith with a player, that's basically it, mind made up, no going back.

Whether that's exclusive to Rafa however, is another story. One might point to the limited opportunities Pacheco's had after Northampton, and wonder if the same could be said about Hodgson.

Just wish he was limited to expressing it down the pub with his mates rather than being given the exposure he is.

I'm not a communist. I am a revolutionist at heart though.

Before this gets out of hand, I'd like to draw everyone's attention to my (admittedly childish) use of white text at the end of my previous post and I apologise to anyone who missed it.

No, it was just a joke that was in danger of misfiring, as well as being rather old hat.
