It'd be nice to stuff these chancers 3 or 4 nil to compound another week of misery walking in a Geordie wonderland.

Name, and what they know he can do and hope he will do, bit like Fergie's constant picking of Rooney through his goal drought and poor form.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostHis form doesnt warrant a starting place.
If he gets picked, it's on name alone.
Does tend to happen a lot in football though.

Agree i would name an un changed side from the Villa game as a change could damage the confidence they have picked up in that game give them a run put Torres and Cole on the bench then if Babel or Ngog don't preform then bring on Torres and bring Cole on if Maxi isn't doing itOriginally posted by Bender View Postlet's stick to the same team we had against villaGeorge Gillett is a

Tends to happen sure, but his play is ineffective of late. And you can always bring him off the bench if need be.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostName, and what they know he can do and hope he will do, bit like Fergie's constant picking of Rooney through his goal drought and poor form.

Dont think either Babel or N'Gog deserves to lose their place.

His ability as a footballer is what gets him picked, silly comment.

I thought Torres was generally **** vs Tottenham and was lazy as **** off the ball, this coming from the person who started a thread about turning gay for him. Babel and Ngog worked well together on and off the ball vs Villa and this could be the kind of game where some early pressure and hard work with pace could do some early damage which could open the flood gates.96 Never Forgotten

Think there are doubts over both of them, though I read somewhere they expect to have Nolan back.Originally posted by banditos View PostAre Nolan and Barton still out for them? Those two make a big difference to their team.
Great chance to double our tally of away wins, but not that confident as Bodge may set us up to sit deep to absorb pressure
once again.
Still no Colocini or Williamson, Campbell and Taylor are definitely an area we can expose"Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone." Rafa, Legend

No they don't. They say wayaye man or haway man or hadaway n ****e.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostEvery-day geordies probably say 'why aye man' about as often as scousers say 'calm down, calm down'
Brilliant little stereotypical cliches.
More often than not these days we just call each other cunts and tell each other to **** off though. Our regional identity has been serverely impacted by the global adoption of profanity :sighs:A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

If we start welll the home fans will turn on Pardew which will play into our hands. They clearly aren't happy and will be looking for an excuse to make their feelings known.
Roy should get them attacking from the off I say.Last edited by lfcred; 10-12-10, 05:29 PM.jc - after the live score and the best Soccer Blog online
