Thing is, we played quite well for 15 minutes at the start of the second half & after the goal, started pressing and playing with a higher tempo, only to fade away and retreat as soon as Newcastle started to get amongst us. Just not ****ing plan to counteract that.

That was absolutely disgraceful. Newcastle are a pub team with one tactic and they outmuscled us and outthought us. And all Hodgson could do was rub his face. It was so bad that seeing him do that actually made me laugh out loud.

Not that it was all Hodgsons fault. The players need to stand up and be counted after that.

Dirk Kuyt stank the place out again. The goal was a fluke and he constantly gave the ball to a Newcastle player all game. Seems like he can't be dropped though. Skrtel and Kyrioakos got schooled by a pair of schoolboys. Skrtel was woeful. Konchesky, Ngog, Maxi and Torres, yes Torres were absolutely rubbish. Meireles and Lucas were average. A performance that has completely killed any chance of top four, and killed any lingering doubts that we need a rehaul from top to bottom. I hope you are watching and listening John Henry. You've spent big this week in Boston, I hope you saved some for a rebuilding job like no other.

Next week will be very interesting. If Roy isn't sacked then NESV have more or less given up on a top four place and that is something that should never happen.

They need to act now. They need to show strength now. It is up to them to show some balls.

Might have been different had Nando not fluffed another 1 on 1 , but Bodge showed no ambition to try to win it at 1-1. He seemed happy for us to sit back and play out a draw and look what happened.

Dirk is lost out wide in a 442. Skrtel was a disaster today, at fault for their first two goals and PFK continues to prove he's the worst player to play for us in the modern era.

Hodgson has to go, I feel like I say this after every match but this can't be allowed to go on. Today was an excellent opportunity to pick up an away win and we were dire again.

We're now 9th with 22 points from 17 games

We're 8 points away from Chelsea in 4th who have a game in hand on us, and 4 points off Spurs in 5th who also have a game in hand. At this rate we'll be lucky to be in a battle for the Europa league never mind the Champions League

Roy has definitely improved. Started with Scratching his chin and improved to scratching his whole face against Newcastle.

Playing 15 minutes decent football will not win you any games. We got what we deserved.

Not saying we deserved anything from the game, but it was hanging in the balance for long periods and we ****ing couldn't do anything. We missed one or two chances which could have won us the game (or at least drew), but that was about it. Tactically we're a shambles and devoid of any plan B whatsoever. The way we set ourselves up defending long balls punted into our box was asking for trouble all game. I've seen Torres man marking Caroll twice from set pieces. Soto should have been on him.

Why the outrage and why the surprise???
We will be lucky to finish top 10 with Hodgson in charge. We'll be lucky to pick up 20 points away from home this season (5 wins, 5 draws) and will only beat the truly rubbish teams at home.
I'll say this until I'm blue in the face, we as fans need to be more vocal especialy at home and get him out
