The way things are i would have Rafa back in a second. If we get to the summer and rafa and roy both get sacked i would take him back if we are unable to get someone better. This coming from one of Rafa's biggest critics of last season.

One word of caution.

The voices of popular opinion last year said at times that anyone could do a better job than Rafa. And boy were they wrong. I'd sack him and take the gamble mind.

I think they have been proved wrong by Hodgson and I'm sure those that are saying no one could do a worse job than Hodgson will also be proved right!

They should of given Dalglish the job from the start. Now they've shot themselves in the foot because they cant get rid of Hodgson without paying some astronomical contract cancellation fee since he's still in just his first year. Paying out Rafa and then Hodgson, that will kill any hope of having a transfer budget. Their only option is to keep him since this is also a financial business structure and not just a footballing one. Everyones screwed but Hodgson at the moment.

He's on a 3 year contract and not even 6months into the first. I'm sure the increment is huge for first year.

I'm pretty sure that if we approached Inter now and said we wanted rafa, they'd happily release him without any compensation. I'm even more sure he'd come back without worrying about a contract payoff too.
