Who do you mean by 'we', Craigy?

    LFC or the fans?
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I am now thinking not is there anyone better but is there anyone worse?

Ffs Gary Ablett, steve Staunton and John barnes are free I think!!

Seriously if the king has said no, sammy could step in, not sure who else there is on the staff who could come in?

I don't think there's anyone internally that could do the job - we're stuck with Hodgson until we can bring the long term answer in. Which I reckon will see Roy last the season.

We'll continue to win the majority of our home games and lose virtually all our away games. We'll get knocked out of the FA Cup by United, and gloriously fail in the Europa League at the Quarter finals stage. I predict a 9th place finish.

i was never keen on hodgson...when i signed though i thought ok give a chance - but that said i was still gobsmacked we'd given a 3 year contract, especially when yo consider that the club was clearly up for sale. Apparently NESV had been looking seriously at the club for a number of months before the sale - so the club knew of their interest.....so why offer hodgson 3 year deal (obv i know it was too tempt him away - he'd never have taken a 12 month rolling contract)

I just can't believe he is our manager and we are stuck with him
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

We should have beaten Newcastle - the fault lies with BOTH the manager and the players. We had so many chances it was unreal.

                        Conclusion

Failure to deal with Carroll was Liverpool’s main problem. The sloppiness at marking him properly for the early free-kick suggests a lack of organisation, a lack of foresight or a lack of communication. Whichever is closest to the truth, it doesn’t reflect well on Hodgson and his coaching staff.

I would also say playing Newcastle is as close as guaranteeing 6 points every season.

To go up there and be out fought and out played is beyond embarassing.

I have never in 30 years of watching liverpool ever imagined anyhting other than a win every time we play Newcastle. Saturday best i could have imagined was a draw.

I really really think if teams press us at home like Blackpool did and others have we could be in a relegation dogfight this year

It was getting to a point where it wasn't even worth them showing up and just mailing us the points.
What happened in that 2nd half was a disgrace.
