I reckon there could be an element of truth in that.Originally posted by MorphorinoOr it could be that the sale of the club, is getting closer to being a done deal, and this fella has decided it's time to mouth off as he's not going to be there for much longer anyway.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Yeah.Originally posted by EthSomeone should pull him out of his seat tomorrow and feed him to the KOP
this **** is really pissing me off now, ******* director, this is the best manager we have had since the glory days, and one could argue they had come back, people have such short memories. This man put us out on our own as the third most successfull team in European football history. Rafa is owed big respect, As far as im concerned, we are lucky to have one of the best managers in the world in charge of Liverpool.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

I think you are in the majority Baz - it was bang out of order - a cowardly act - a damaging act - it puts a frail squad under even more pressure right before a tricky tie against the only unbeaten team in the premiership. The KOP needs to sing about Rafa for 90 minutes tomorrow and show him that the fans are behind him. Liverpool Football Club do not wash their dirty linen in public - The director in question has just blown his own brains out and has no place in the club any longer - at this present time I'd say that Rafa is the safest employee in the club in the Fans eyes as if came to a decision of Rafa Vs anyone in the club then Rafa will stay and the anyone will walk.Originally posted by bazza76Yeah.

But this investment talk is the one thats getting me, im not what to think about it, how is Rafa looking at the whole situation, whatever happens with the board, Moores will only sell for what he feels the shares are worth, not that i can ever see him having a problem with Rafa, I fully expect Moores to publicly back Rafa if he hasnt already, we need to get this toruble maker out, and yes id love the kop to sign his name all game tomorow. That will show Rafa what the fans really think.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

Why do you give this report any credence? There's no evidence at all that any director made any comment. It's just unattributed cobblers in the Daily Manc - which says it all really.Originally posted by EthI think you are in the majority Baz - it was bang out of order - a cowardly act - a damaging act - it puts a frail squad under even more pressure right before a tricky tie against the only unbeaten team in the premiership.
