Owners are in town and he's desperate for another win infront of them when really we should be resting players for the Fulham game.

I just hope Torres gets a goal

We’ve taken 7 points from our last 6 games! He keeps banging on about this so-called improvement and our great form, but it’s 7 points from 6 games, with three defeats in those six games FFS.

      Wigan – drew
      Stoke – lost
      West Ham – won
      Spurs – lost
      Villa – won
      Newcastle – lost

To be honest I think the form of the team in front of goal and Torres are enough to suggest that it might well be worth giving him a game in the hope of him getting a goal and helping sort out some of our problems. He looked so lacking in sharpness against Newcastle it was a real concern.

Torres is badly in need of a few goals and a performance. I thought he'd be dying to do the baby celebration at the weekend, but didn't really burst the gut.

I never thought I'd say this, but if he keeps performing as is, he has to be dropped. He's playing for his place in the team on Saturday I think.

To clarify he means home games in which we've won, then we have the second best record in the league. Simple this Hodgson logic.

            Away games count for nothing.

                Quite literally in Hodgsons case

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

and it has been that since day one. No long term thinking at all. If Torres gets injured then we actually could be relegated.

Not on present form Arn, in fact the opposite. If Torres doesn't stop sulking we could get relegated.

Not on present form but that form will probably change as soon as we get a new manager that know how to use him.

If he gets a long term injury then a new manager would get it a lot tougher to climb the table.

Funny how you say this about Torres, but refuse to accept the same point re Gerrard.

That Gerrard thread is just bizarre.

And it's even worse when you consider that Gerrard's actually been better than Torres this season.

Whether Arn wishes to admit it or not (or whether he even realises it or not), his personal agenda against Gerrard isnt subtle.

Based on Arns posts I'd imagine it may be because Gerrard was supposedly behind Rafa getting the chop. It can be nothing to do with his qualities as a footballer.
