Yeah, we're through and already guaranteed to top the group.Originally posted by lickedlollipop View Postwe're trough this competition, right?
The team from Collymore's ****ter is more like what I'd play. It'd be stupid to risk Torres in such a meaningless match.
Hope to see Pacheco get a run out at some stage. Thought he might start.A humble guy with healthy desire.

Bit in bold - thinly veiled slating of the team there - "these arent my players" = i dont rate them.Roy Hodgson has praised Liverpool's owners for their long-term strategy for success.

Speaking to journalists ahead of tonight's game with Utrecht, the boss once again outlined his ambitions to bring trophies to Anfield and to get us back in the top four - but he, John Henry and Tom Werner know patience will be required.
Hodgson said: "The owners have made it perfectly clear they're in it for the long term and they're going to be patient.
"They realise it's going to take time. They realise we can't turn things around overnight and they also realise that the team I'm working with isn't the team I put together.
"The owners have talked common sense all along and their vision for the club is spot-on.
"I didn't join Liverpool to be in mid-table. I came here because I believed we could be in the top four, in the Champions League and winning things.
"That's my ambition. Certainly it's the owners' ambition and I'm hoping they'll help me - especially in terms of recruitment - get the team into the top four.
"I still think for a really healthy club, it has to be done on a healthy basis. The players who come in have got to be the right ones for the club.
"Ideally, you would do something with the Academy as well, so you can produce more of the likes of Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman along the way."
Meanwhile, fans attending tonight's Europa League clash will get to see a strong line-up including Fernando Torres.
Explaining his decision not to rest the Spaniard ahead of Saturday's clash with Fulham, Hodgson said: "I don't know if I would have considered using Fernando had David Ngog been fit. But he isn't and, having had a chat with Fernando, I think he'll enjoy it.
"It's not as if he'll be playing with a bunch of also-rans. I'm not asking him to play in the reserves. There will be just a couple of the first teamers missing from Saturday.
"It's a 40,000 crowd and maybe more, which is incredible. It speaks volumes for the sport and Liverpool.
"I've said to Fernando - and this doesn't need to be a secret - that we believe he's a very fine player, one of the best front players in Europe, and the fact that maybe he hasn't played at his level over the past couple of months doesn't change that.
"You don't become a bad player overnight. But don't forget, goalkeepers and strikers in particular play on such a small margin of error.
"The difference between being carried down the high street in a Sedan chair, or being vilified is infinitesimal. I'm hoping it will go well for him against Utrecht.
"I am hoping that he'll have a good game that will improve his confidence. He's happy to play and he wants to play, so it would be foolish of me to not use him. There's nothing to lose."
And what the **** is this about?
"The difference between being carried down the high street in a Sedan chair, or being vilified is infinitesimal.
