I think we will win the majority of those. I also think Hodgson will keep doing just enough to keep his job until the summer. I think we start getting a tough run of games around Feb/Mar time and I think we could really drop off then. But by then 4th will be gone and we might as well stick until the summer.
That said, if we get players that suit Roys boring system in January, then we could well see results improve. And you know the media and Roy will be spinning it as him just having needed time. And it wouldn't suprise me if there was enough spin to keep him in the job for next season.
No question that if results are as bad in the second half of the season as they are now, he will go in the summer. But I think we'll improve, not by a massive ammount. But maybe just enough to keep Roy in the hot seat.
I think that Roy's reign could be coming to the end following these fixtures if they go as bad I think they will.

Should beat Wolves. Bolton will be a struggle. Blackburn is away so a draw or a defeat there. Defeat against Man U. Blackpool is away so a draw or a defeat. The derby will be a struggle. Wolves is away. And should beat Fulham.
Most other seasons I'd be assessing that completely differently.
I think we'll win at least 5, maybe couple of draws and one defeat. Minimum standards should be 6 wins and draw the rest of the league games. The cup tie is a tough one in any season.
I think you are optimistic there. Three wins possibly four and a couple of draws would be as optimistic as I would be with our's and Roy's away record. Like alunevans said another season and I would have been more positive.
Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??
This is perhaps on paper our easiest run of league fixtures of the season, so we should pick up a decent amount of points. But I'm not confident, our current form is poor (2wins 3 draws and 3 defeats in last 8 games in all competitions )
As our away form is dire I'm not expecting us to win an away game, I'd hope we could, but we can't expect to. As for the FA Cup I fear the worst!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Under normal circumstances all the games in next 30 days should be easily winnable with exception of ManU away.
I think the season of below-expectation results will continue (win one, lose one, draw one etc.) and a chance to contend for 4th spot is long gone.
We have shown absolutely any signs that we can win few in a row and separation between top 4,5 and us is getting wider and wider.
On that note, as we will not be playing CL next year, right or wrong I don't think NESV will rush to make managerial change now but rather wait until summer.
I think that Roy's reign could be coming to the end following these fixtures if they go as bad I think they will.

Most depressing season of the decade! i don't know whats worse not watching nus play for two weeks due to postponed matches or watching us drop another 4-6 points in two matches
Lets just get on with the job and see how it pans out at the end.
Good to see that defeats to Newcastle and Wolves have really ****ed up our hopes of a Top 4 finish. Just imagine if we'd got a new manager in before those games and won both......
We'd be dreaming in and the players would be fighting for something once again.

DannyMan, after today's loss, reading that gave me the chills
