Whilst the thought of Aguero *playing* at Anfield is just aces, I think it's a case of them catching a game whilst in Liverpool (Aguero at Maxi's for Chrimbo and Rafa in Liverpool for Chrimbo talking tactics over the turkey) ... and let's face it, Aguero will be put off for life with a dire game of footy and a Kop that will have had any christmas spirit sucked out of them in the first 20 mins.

In all honesty Agger is hardly that good a left back. He got took apart quite a few times when at lb earlier this season.

Why he would play Agger when we have two senior lbs is beyond me. Surely Aurelio is available?

Anyhow, could it be that Roy is taking Konk out the firing line? I was wondering what type of reception he'd get at Anfield due to his mother mouthing off and calling Liverpool fans scum.

But then again, if he's staying he'll have to play at Anfield eventually so that doesn't really make much sense.

I think playing Agger LB in this game makes sense. We're short at centre half, but Agger needs to prove his fitness, so stick him out at LB where he can gain his fitness, knowing that he can double up there if necessary or be replaced by PK, allowing Aurelio to be used further up the pitch, or at LB if it doesn't work out.
