I really don't think that would be a good idea.

why not? the difference when he was made captain was immense, as a manager he would command massive amounts of respect and would attract top players

no idea about his management skills unfortunately but he's got to be better than RH

The fairy at the top of my Christmas tree would be better then Roy ****ing Hodgson. This comparison really needs to stop being used.

He hasn't got the brain for top level management and since he thought Curbishley would be a good choice of manager, I dispute his judgement skills.

On top of that, he's probably more of an old school manager that Hodgson.
Fair play - not really familiar with much of his work. Just interested really as IIRC he has done the whole taking over midway in a season thing in Spain and with his experience there might be better placed to play more attack minded football.

I suggest a brains trust of Carragher, Gerrard and Purslow draw up a list of potential and managers and then the board ratify a motion to never employ any of them under any circumstances.

He's still an advisor to FSG and he sits next to Gerrard at games - not as far gone as I would wish.

                      He needs to removed completely.

Rafa went for a reason, i don't see how the players will respond to a manager who also lost his job for not getting the best out of the squad and for making poor signings.

Give it to Kenny till atleast the end of the season, a respectable figure for the players and someone who us fans can truly get behind and support.

Yes, but I think part of that reason was that he was undermined by the board, even to the extent of changing his coaching staff.

Rafa went, because he had more influence, but not in the transfer market.

Now whether you think he was right in wanting the best for LFC is another topic.

At this point I'm not worried about who we bring in we just need rid of Roy!

a caretaker role for now would suit in all honesty.
