Because the players don't know what they are supposed be doing.Originally posted by Charles Manson View PostWait...as much as I want Roy gone, why is he getting 100% of the blame here?
Everyone played absolutely **** - worse than Sunday league...even Reina made several very dodgy passes that got intercepted easily. We struggled to string together 3 passes, gave the ball away as if we were seeing orange as red.
When the players can get the fundamentals right, you know passing to someone on their own team - then you can blame Roy's **** tactics.
IMHO though Roy should be blamed for starting Skittles instead of Agger and Konchesky instead of Aurelio...Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Because in this day and age, you have players reacting dynamicaly to scouting reports of your opposition to take advantage of their weakness. That all comes out in the player briefing, and sometimes the training pitch.Originally posted by Charles Manson View PostWait...as much as I want Roy gone, why is he getting 100% of the blame here?

GJ hoofing the ball from behind the half way line in plenty of space doesn't suggest RH has moved on from that flipchart posted the other day.

Feel like a rant to get things off my chest
That is without doubt the worst i've seen a proper first 11 play for us in the 33 years i've been watching.
I HATE the **** that Hodgson spouts - i don't think he even realises how wrong he always is.
I HATE how far we are from the pass and move that makes us Liverpool
We were not close to this bad last year -we always had a plan - and basic football skills
* this **** about the back four having to hoof the ball as a first option makes you a mid table team at best - and leaves no place for Danny Agger who is one of the best footballing centre backs in the game
* the combination of Mereiles /Lucas / Maxi was a positive from the season - good , quick passing, creativity and hard graft. So why the F*ck do we drop Maxi to put Kuyt in a new position that just doesnt work for him? Stevie G is **** in the middle. His best season was in right midfield and since then he's been excellent off the striker. In the middle of a four his lack of positional discipline is a disaster. He gave the ball away for goals in his last 2 games. Does Hodgson not see this?
* playing 2 up front does not guarantee goals. Hoofing the ball to a backwards facing Torres is reducing the best centre forward in the world to a stroppy teenager. Only Hodgson could impose a system that makes Carlton F*ing Cole a better option than Nando!
Could go on --- poor treatment of Pacheco,PFK, ..but you get the point

Angry Kop turns on Roy Hodgson after shock defeat by Wolverhampton
Tony Barrett, Tom Dart
Updated 34 minutes ago
Roy Hodgson came under mounting pressure last night with a section of the Liverpool fans in open revolt over his continuing presence as manager.
Chants of “Hodgson for England” and “Dalglish” resounded around Anfield as Liverpool stumbled to a 1-0 Barclays Premier League defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers, who started the night bottom of the table.
Hodgson’s decision to replace David Ngog, who had been arguably Liverpool’s best performer on the night, with Ryan Babel caused outrage on the Kop, with supporters turning on the club’s manager in the most vocal show of dissent yet against his tenure.
It was not the first time that chants have been aired in favour of the return of Kenny Dalglish as manager, but it was the first time that the Kop have sung Hodgson’s name and that it came in such a derisive manner will only serve to fuel suggestions that his days at Anfield are numbered.
To make matters worse, the feeling of mutiny against the former Fulham manager was only added to when his decision to substitute Paul Konchesky, a player he signed from his former club, was greeted with vociferous cheers from the home fans and chants of “You’re getting sacked in the morning” from the visiting section.
The defeat continued Liverpool’s worst start to a Premier League campaign and their points total going into the new year is their lowest since the 1953-54 season, when they were relegated. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If I remember Ards properly, mostly anyone will doOriginally posted by Woobus View PostI havent posted in a long time on the football forums, but I feel sick. Havent been this fuvkin angry in a long time. Anyone in Ards in Northern Ireland I can punch?
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

No it's all Roy's fault and Roy's fault alone. Our players are world class, every other team coverts all of them, they just don't want to play for him...Originally posted by Rudo View PostI want Roy out so bad but lets makes no mistake about it here, this Football club needs a major overhaul - management staff, coaching staff, players,

I actually agree with everything you wrote. This Liverpool team is a sham and has been for some time. Won't play for Hodgson, wouldn't play for Rafa in his last season, just seem as though they couldn't care less. Couldn't play when the takeover went through and we were playing Neverton - what a boost that should of been and couldn't play for two ex-players who have passed away - to give them a fitting send off.

Just a couple of things
Blackpool, Northampton & Wolves have all come to Anfield and shown that football is a simple game and if you do the basics then you have a chance of achieving things
The fact is Hodgson's Liverpool dont do the basics- never have, never will
IF we did do the basics then teams like those listed above will not be able to live with us because the quality of our players are far superior to any of those teamsBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

You know what makes it even worse?...
I read today Wolves were missing 4 of their first team players tonight - Mancienne, Karl Henry, Kevin Doyle, and another one but i can't remember who.
So we've been outplayed, outbattled and beaten by an under strength side that have the worst away record in the country...un-****ing-believable!!
