Honestly Dave, I think nesv will be good long term. I just hoped they'd click on to what was needed quicker than they are doing.

Player wise, how can we judge anyone on this seasons performances for the club? The formation and tactics are ****ed. Play central players on the wing and have offensive players as virtual full backs and you'll see the bad side of players games.

I'd love go know how Cole and Jovsnovic would do under s new manager. I suspect both would have made a huge difference to a Rafa team. Yet under Roy they look like League One players, ****ing abysmal. That may be there true level. But I can't judge until I see properly.

Same with regards Torres. Have injuries ruined him? Or is he just pissed at Roy and his hoof tactics?
    Forwards.......

we are on course for 46 points. In our last season we had 63.

we are getting tactically outclassed by Alan Pardew and Mick McCarthy. In fact every manager would be kicking themselves if they dont get atleast a point against us. All they need to do is ask their team to press hard high up the pitch.

Worries of getting sucked into a relegation battle is appearing. At the very least a competent manager can ensure that we finish in a Europa League place.

Thing is Craig, the players ate shooting themselves in the foot. If they play ****e they can't come 4th and that means no CL football next year. If I'm working out my notice at a job it's because I'm leaving a job. If I slack then it doesn't matter.

perhaps nobody has noted that nobody wants to play for hodgson because it's so obvious, and people would rather not state the obvious for the millionth time

besides, craig, the club has a board of directors who work on the commercial side. they're not selling out games, and someone who's already paid for the games and still can't be asked to go anymore is really a very damning indictment. if the board are paying attention to these things, it will up the pressure on nesv from people who they do listen to.

All hail Roy Hodgson, tactical mastermind. It's been the players' fault, the board's fault, the club's fault, the fans' fault - who's next? The groundsman must be getting nervous.

was disappointed with that myself, he wasn't the worst out there tonight even though i'd have started with aurelio myself.

and whatever his mum stupidly said, she said it not him.

still, it shows the idiocy of the manager to take him off in such circumstances and risk subjecting him to that. its not as if swapping one left back for another would win us the game really is it?

so it seemed idiotic to haul him off like that and have him potentially singled out. not that it excuses the jeering mind you but still, another example of daft management.

my thing with the clearout isn't that a lot of these players are bad players per se, just probably understandably ****ing sick to death of playing here. maybe a new manager will change all that, but imho, there is a real chance that some of them will never get their mojo back until they have a fresh challenge elsewhere, if at all. i don't blame them, but if getting rid of roy doesn't do the trick, then we will have no other choice.

                  Bull**** of the highest order.

The squad is packed full of players who came within 4 points of the title.

The team has got worse since last year. A good manager would get the club up to around 7th-9th with this squad.

Of course Hodgson needs to be sacked but make no mistake this is a ****ing mid table team.

The squad is short in quality overall but should be doing better than it is. It is better than mid table.

Without replacing Alonso, Mascherano, Arbeloa, Benayoun and with others ageing badly.

The team has got worse from last season and now as a worse manager.

Name 6 squads better than ours.

Most of those players are definitely capable of playing top notch football as they shown in the past but their confidence is at all time low due to tactical and strategic ineptitude of current manager.

Simply sack Roy and appoint Kenny (if he wants the job) and see of how those players will respond.

Kenny cannot possible be any more risky appointment than leaving an idiot in charge. On the contrary...

I know mate, and it isnt 'right' by any means. It's human nature though and it isnt going to change. For the most part, the players do not believe in Hodgson, they do not believe he has achieved enough to warrant their trust, which isnt helped by the **** methodology he is trying to get them to play by, and they are not enjoying life at LFC.

I think most of them, if not all, are still keen to stay at the club, but things have to improve and very quickly, otherwise there'll be an exodus.

And it goes beyond anything Hodgson can do now - other than resign.

                                That's a fair point.

As i said, if someone has an email contact address for John Henry, i'll happily vent to him. But simply writing to the 'club' - Eg LFC, Anfield Road, Liverpool L4 0TH - it wont get read by anyone who matters.
