Glen Johnson and Raul Meireles would at the very least be squad members in every premier league team and start in vast majority. As for Joe Cole, many forget Chelsea wanted to keep him.

another thing is they've probably gotten pretty good at (justifiably) pointing fingers. a lot of them have given an incredible amount of work to this club, and i couldn't blame players if they wanted to move somewhere where they'd have an easier time of it. i wouldn't lose any respect for them, these players have been through a lot.

Without replacing Alonso, Mascherano, Arbeloa, Benayoun and with others ageing badly.

The team has got worse from last season and now as a worse manager.

We may not have got players equal to Alonso, Mascherano etc, but we havent not replaced them. Meireles is class. Poulsen's obviously ****, but we're hardly a Mascherano away from being a good side.

Johnson is a step up on Arbeloa in some ways, not in others. Again, this isnt going to make THE difference. A difference perhaps, but not the difference. And Joe Cole, granted having had a very poor start to life at LFC, is at the very least, equal to Yossi, if not better. Yossi who, incidentally, was never a regular first teamer for us.

In fact, i would suggest that with the ****ty nature of the league this year, our current first team, barring serious and long injuries, should be capable of making a serious challenge for 4th.

As it is, you'd probably settle for top 6. Or maybe top 8. 9th even?

As i said, if someone has an email contact address for John Henry, i'll happily vent to him. But simply writing to the 'club' - Eg LFC, Anfield Road, Liverpool L4 0TH - it wont get read by anyone who matters.

i would think sending an email to the club's inbox would be a fine idea. and as many others as you can dig up. somebody will read it and at the very least, someone will be saying "we got so and so many emails for roy out today."

and maybe someone will read it, you never know. i'm not to the point of boycotting yet, but if i were, i would certainly tell them. it's just fair warning. no good protesting if you don't tell the ****ers and they never even find out.

A good season would see us sneak 4th.

That is with THIS squad. Better dealing in the summer and we could have been shoe INS for 4th. All this is based on regular point requirements for each said position.

This season a lower points total is predicted for the higher places. As such people could be entitled to expect more.

If he stays until the summer I cannot see how we'll make into top 10 don't mind top 6.

I'm not dismissing the idea. But i still dont know what email address to send to. A generic one wouldnt do much good IMO.

It IS 3:30am though, and i've done a round trip involving nearly 9 hours of driving. So perhaps i'll have more will and energy to do this during the daylight hours.
