That's one way at looking at it DannyMan. Another is we had a good manager last year & a world class defensive midfielder and came ****ing 7th. We've replaced those two with Hodson and Poulson. No surprise we've got worse. None at all.

The club didn't underachieve last year. They weren't unlucky in loads of games. We were played off the park loads of times and were just as **** away in 2010 last season.

I'm not dismissing the idea. But i still dont know what email address to send to. A generic one wouldnt do much good IMO.

It IS 3:30am though, and i've done a round trip involving nearly 9 hours of driving. So perhaps i'll have more will and energy to do this during the daylight hours.

But last year was underachievement, wasnt it???

Like ****ety ****, they didnt. Underachieving isnt about whether you've played well and deserved to win. It's achieving less than the perceived level of that which you should, given the players you have at your disposal.

Of course we ****ing underachieved last season.

We also had bad injuries to contend with, much worse than this year. We also have Meireles this year, as opposed to never really having Aquilani last year. We also have Cole and Jovanovic instead of Yossi, I don't count Riera as he wasn't available for whatever reason.

And Everyman jack on this forum and whoever you spoke to, 100% agreed that Rafa did a poor job last season. The only debating point was did he deserve another shot. Rafa also had unsettled off field politics going on, the club is now settled and the fans want to get back to just supporting the team.

So many factors in roys favour. But he's been a complete disaster.

I'm not saying he hasn't, not in the bloody slightest. Just think this is going to be one hell of a rebuilding process.

Sad to say it too but it can start with nando ****ing off back to Spain. I've had it with him.

i don't buy for a minute that the club is settled yet.

ownership sorted, yes, but they haven't yet had a big opportunity to try and do much. obvious example notwithstanding.

I think if we got a new manager in who was the right man, people would be amazed at how quickly many ou our major problems suddenly vanished.

Because of this, not for one second am I saying rush into getting a new permanent manager. I'm saying sack the one everyone knows is a dead msn walking and get a temp appointment in who will get the respect of the fans and players and who will have us playing attractive football.

Just another example of how badly we underachieved. Many pundits seriously tipped us for the title. We believed it too.
