Unbelievable - FC United keeper John Ogden

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere.

    Disgusting.

    from football365

    "Stay Clear Of The M62
We hope FC United keeper John Ogden doesn't find himself on Merseyside any time soon.

Shortly after Tweeting 'Mur-derers! Mur-der-rers!' just before the game at Old Trafford, Ogden sent a message to Rio Ferdinand, which went a little something like this: 'shocking, but they are murderers after all. Make sure its number 19 this season perfect response.'

    Good luck Oggy."

Just been having a heated argument with a girl on facebook about something similar. She was moaning about Liverpool fans mocking the Munich disaster, but can't see that calling us murderers is just as bad. Her take on it is that the murderers thing is in relation to Heysel and NOT Hillsborough.

Bloody weird. Her and her brother. Mid 20's. Nice enough. But when it comes to football, they are sooo full of vitriol towards Liverpool. I really can't understand it :S

              - Hysel, Hillsborough and Munich and any other disaster should not be sung about

I do really hate the murders chant, really winds me up when at away games - Chelsea are one of the worst for it

That's Manchester United fans for ya!

It used to bug me, now I just laugh at them. That **** chanting Munich yesterday should be ashamed of himself. Anyone who gets involved in that stuff is obviously a total moron.

By the way did anyone think it a bit fishy that, out of 9000 fans, producers at ITV coincidentally decided to home in on ONE lad clearly and blatantly chanting Munich - and then, even when what he was chanting became crystal clear, they kept the camera on him for what seemed like an age? Maybe I'm paranoid but I think someone at ITV doesn't like us. Cunts.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Some people in life are morons. Some of those morans choose to follow football and can be found supporting (in all likelihood) every club in world football. Every club has it's elements of inbreds and as United and Liverpool have the largest fanbases there is a high chance we'll have more morons than any other clubs in England.

                  Just the way it is.
                  Forwards.......

Yup, thought exactly the same at the time. Haven't seen any mention of it on here so figured it wasn't picked up on but it was stupidly obvious that they'd singled him out for the cameras and given him a fair amount of exposure

That's just ****ing stupid IMO. You get all kinds of nobheads at the game and everyone knows it, so why fan the flames by highlighting one?!

                    Controversy sells I suppose

Heard the same thing. Seen it at OT myself in the past. I suppose it happens every time. Handful of idiots do the plane gestures/chant Munich, others tell them to shut up, and round and round it goes.

I doubt there was only one they could've homed in on. Based on my trip to OT earlier this season, i imagine about half of our lot were at it.

Bloke on RAWK reckons 70% of the fans there were at it. ****ing shameful if true.

That wouldnt surprise me. I wasnt there yesterday but based on previous visits to OT (and i've been the last 5 or 6 seasons), a big portion of our lot were doing it.

Certainly not a tiny minority as we'd like to think. You could debate on who 'started it' but i'm not sure it really matters. Pathetic stuff from both sides.
