Like it or not, Poulsen is looking good - always available for a short pass, gets rid of it quickly, good pressing...Mereiles very meh...Some sweey sweet touches from Torres from all over - confidence play for definite. And **** all hoofing - I have no doubt the first instruction Kenny gave to the team to change the way we play was to stop *******ing punting the ****ing thing the length of the pitch.

Awful first half, great start and lousy after that. Very defensive set team, very poor quality 11. Poulsen & Jovo are sub standard and just there. Meireles once again is non existent. Johnson is useless and Kuyt looks like his legs weigh about 18 stone.

Feel sorry for Torres on his own, he's working his ass off today but the quality isn't around him. terrible display, Kelly and Lucas have done well IMO. Like to see Maxi on for Jovo

We've been ok tbh, just lacking a bit of quality in the final third, Jova especially. Johnson has been non-existent, so with the whole left side being broken it's not been easy. We just look a bit unbalanced with Johnson playing left back

Passing has been a bit hit and miss, but we're at least defending higher up the pitch, at least trying to play with a higher tempo, we're just not there yet. Too many players out of form

We're making some good positive runs forwards when we have the ball though

By far our best passer in the side is Lucas.

Torres looks sharp but needs more service. Not happy with meireles again, it was his loose poke that led to the blackpool goal and generally he seems to be too far off torres.

I think johnson has shown in this half what his liverpool careers been about. Some brilliant stuff interspaced by a lot of brainless, thoughtless ****.

we are missing gerrard, aurelio, and cole. Thats a lot of composure and attacking talent. hope next half is better but at least we're trying to win.

This game is more evidence, if anyone needed it, that we need QUICK and skillful wingers, who can actually beat a man and deliver quality into the box.
