I think the last point you made holds the key. Crouch is improving both in ability and belief. He will do a good job for us this season.

191 for Crouch.
If you want to make a judgement after 10 league games, be my guest. I'll wait until the season's over.
.
The lads at 6CM made their judgement after 10 minutes of Crouch playing for LFC and they refuse to change their mind in the face of overwhelming evidence

His finishing has improved tremendously since he signed, maybe training alongside one of the greatest goalscorers of his generation has rubbed off on him ?Originally posted by dwwI think the last point you made holds the key. Last season he scored 8% of the chances that fell his way, this season it's at 33%. I don't expect it to stay there but it still shows the improvement.

A classic case in point. Did you really have to put the highlighted section in? All it does it perfectly illustrate your constant negative attitude towards Crouch. Why don't you expect it to stay there. What are you basing this pearl of wisdom on? For all you know (yes, even you) Crouch may improve on that ratio.Originally posted by RoscoLast season he scored 8% of the chances that fell his way, this season it's at 33%. If people are going to quote stats at least get them right...
Crouch a goal every 174mins in League
Kuyt a goal every 179mins in League
Whichever way you look at it either all our games or just the league Crouch has done better than Kuyt.
As has been said previously without Crouch we would be struggling big time.

Do you know how those figures compare with other strikers such as Saha, Rooney, Henry, Drogba?Originally posted by RoscoHis finishing has improved tremendously since he signed, maybe training alongside one of the greatest goalscorers of his generation has rubbed off on him ?

Brenden, esteemed founder of 6CM on crouch:Originally posted by RoscoWrong on both counts.
Come back to me when you have a clue.
Crouch is a fcuking dreadful player and his egregious goal-scoring record last year goes a long way towards proving that.
Slow, laborious, poor header of a ball, lacking in aggression, shopcking scoring technique, I could go on....
He should not be playing for Liverpool Football Club.

If ever a player forced his way into a team it would be Crouch, the most unlikely regular striker ever maybe?Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquintNo he obviously doesn't watch us play, because he's a manc, or a bitter.
Crouch is a vital player for us. He should always start in the League.Thomas Hicks Senior
