Thanjk you.

We havent won the title with Gerrard in midfield mate. What's your point?
You're suggesting that we wouldnt win the title, DUE to having Crouch up front. I cant agree with that personally, we wont win the title for several reasons, a striker who is doing his job isnt something i'd identify as one of those reasons.
Where have I made the comment you're attributing to me ? I'm right and you know it.
I do get annoyed with people who ignore facts despite them being told to them before.
I too, enjoy your bizarre use of the english language and your mangling of statistical facts to support your ever shakier grasp of peter crouch's performance for the club.
You're right about Brenda, my mistake it was widow twankey (ryan) who was responsible for 6cm. My apologies.
Still it is a level below the really top players (such as Henry) and we have to question wether we are a good enough team to win the league without players of true world class up front
There aren't many players, in history, who have been as good for so long as Henry. He's exceptional and most players similar to him would have suffered burn out before now.
As for your 2nd sentence and Rosco's bold claim about winning the title ; does anyone remember who scored the goal to secure us our last league title win?
Anyone?
It was Ronnie Rosenthal , and he was no Kenny Dalglish I can tell you. Blows these nonsense claims out of the water.

It is indeed nonsense. A misguided soundbite if ever I’ve heard one. If only it was so ridiculously simple eh? Unfortunately solving the title riddle is a hell of a lot more complex than rudimentary assertions such as Rosco’s.

You are missing the key point, that Rosenthal was an okay player in a great team. We currently don't have a comparably good team to Chelsea (and on the season so fars evidence Man Utd) so the question has to be asked is it possible to win the league without a goalscoring threat as potent as Henry or RvN to mean that we will always have a chance to win games.
I like Crouch and will defend him against any unreasoned attack and some of the comments in this thread I think are unfair. However people have to accept that there is a difference between a team and players who are capable of winning the league and merely very useful players. Personally I think Crouch is growing into a player who can really do things for us but I think that there are still some questions for him to answer. Not sure why people think this point of view is controversial to be honest.
I would say that I think our current strike force would give us a chance if our midfielders chipped in with more goals. I'm not sure that they have that in them (Gerrard apart). I would dearly love Gonzalez/Garcia etc. to prove me wrong and give us the sort of threat that Arsenal have had with Pires and Ljungberg on the wings, or Utd have got with Scholes, Giggs and Ronaldo but I haven't seen it happen yet.
