Mehreles might be the more cultered but in this kind of fixture, i just think Spearing should get the nod.
But looking at the Everton game it shows that wasn't the case, Miereles gave the ball away when he put some crosses in, aside from that h kept the ball much better than Spearing, who was simply passed by in the game (he only attempted 3 tackles all game and was positionally awful).
Also the way you are typing his name makes you look like a ****.

        I think I'd go:

        ---------------- Reina ------------------

        Kelly ---- Kyriakos ---- Agger ---- Aurelio

        ----------Lucas ------- Meireles---------

        Johnson --------- Kuyt --------- Maxi

        ---------------- Torres------------------
I like the look of this and agree with giving Skrtel a rest as he has been shocking. The only change for me would be Cole (if fit) in place of Kuyt.

I think Kenny might surprise us with the line-up and add Jonjo into the team.

If Joe Cole is fit and not selected, I doubt Kenny really see any room for him in the team.

I think Kuyt is over due a rest, we need more 'nibble' players to create chances and put wolves to bed really quickly

All predicted teams & formations must include Arrows!!!
How's this for a strike partnership with arrows:

          (Suarez) ==> (Torres)

you want to see Suarez knock on out over Torres?

            Whats wrong with you !!

From what I understand the real Pablo wouldn't think like that

This is an away game, the Everton match was held at Anfield.

I'd go for Spearing over Mehreles and i've already given my reasons for it.

And i don't care what you think about my name for Raul.

                God no!!

That's Suarez sprinting like mad to get to the by-line and pull the ball back for Torres to finish. And Torres is trying so hard he's dripping with sweat.

                What were you thinking!

What makes you think Spearing would do more away when he nothing at home? You reasoning goes against the facts.

It is not what I think about the name, it is what it says about you.

I thought Spearing played well? I was drinking though. But considering it was his first premier league start he seemed to put in a solid enough shift. He didn't seem to be any worse than what the vastly more experienced Meireles has been of late.

It's hard to expect Spearing to dominate a game when he has hardly even got his toes wet with regards to first team football. He did better than I thought he'd do.

As i've already stated, i think Spearing is better at putting his foot in and keeping possession...nothing spectacular of course but i think along with Lucas both can do a solid job protecting the defence and giving the ball to our attacking players.

Yeah, because i'd be the only person ever to have a nickname for a Liverpool player wouldn't i it's no biggie...and it's hardly a really nasty name for him or anything.

It wasn't his first start, he started against Sunderland away last season. Against Everton he was the least effective player on the pitch and was simply not involved in most of the play and wasn't effective when he did get involved.

I don't expect him to dominate, I expect him not to be a passenger.

But he didn't, he didn't protect the defence either. Spearing gave the ball away a lot in midfield, more than Miereles did and he did **** in defence with just 3 (winning 2) tackles and 2 interceptions. He is a Championship to mid-table player at best and was the poorest player on the pitch at the weekend.

I doubt spearing will make the grade, i personally think we need to line up 4-2-3-1.

                                REINA
                                KELLY KYRGIAKOS AGGER? JOHNSON
                                LUCAS AURELIO
                                KUYT MEIRELES MAXI
                                TORRES

I don't see why we cant throw Aurelio in at DM, he can play the ball. And im sure that we will see a lot of the ball in that part of the pitch.

I dont know if agger is out injured or not, so thats what the "?" is all about.
