Decent first half, Poulsen and Torres were the stand out performers. Torres is so reeved up for it these days.

The defence does worry me big time, need a 2nd goal before we have relax.

Not been reading this thread, but I think Poulsen is having his best game for us. Not saying much I know, but he's been good. Nice pass for Raul before the goal.

Great to see runners from midfield getting ahead of Torres. Confidence is still fragile but, if we win this, we'll have a great platform to build from when Gerrard is back and, hopefully, some new signings.

There's no out and out striker on the bench so now that nando has a yellow, what do we do to protect him? Either kenny tells him to calm it or later on move Kuyt up front and Pacheco out wide or like for like and play Pacheco as a striker?

Wouldn't mind seeing Joe Cole introduced early in the 2nd half..,could provide a more cutting edge in the final 3rd.

Kuyt and Maxi have been pretty poor, maybe take one of them off for Cole.
