Excellent team performance, best game Meireles has played for us. Good movement off the ball which has been non existent all season. Lots of space to play in and take advantage of, and we did. Very Happy, Captain back next game, Torres gets two goals, Meireles plays his best game, we got a clean sheet and Kenny gets his first win.

Good performance and good result. Lets get some players in, few heads out and push on up the table. Good Stuff YNWA

Good win against dogged opponents.

Raul was excellent for the most part, decent performances spattered around the team........but we were really **** for about 20mins in that 2nd half.
Need to cop on to that, or we'll easily slip up against better opposition.

I agree with Raul, Nando and Lucas but Leiva will need to cut on silly and unnecessary fauls. I could cost us dearly.

Fantastic to see the King with a massive smile on his face at the end of the game

That third goal was just fantastic to watch, kept possession, worked the ball into space and the finish was there at the end of it

am delighted with the win and 3 points for sure.

i missed the first half but all i saw was us playing defensively weak football with a few decent counterattacks (great to see we're supporting the attack with proper numbers)

but we did look ropey for much of the 2nd half and kelly had a 'back down to earth' performance then.

good goals tho. we're defo on the up. the king is back

Yeah. Poulsen good first half but you need to be able to do it for 90 mins. He got found out a couple of times 2nd half. Gerrard in for him and things are looking up!

Still worried defensively though and in the main these worries centre on Skrtel.

Stand out players were Meireles, Lucas, Kelly, and Torres.

Couple of signings and we could make a very late charge up the table.

I must also say, I saw nothing from Jarvis to suggest he is anything but a mid-table player. I was disappointed with how poor Kelly was with him in the second half, he was the weak link and I think it needed addressing.
