      Been saying this all along.

      "Massive overhaul" my ****ing arse.

It's almost understandable, given how much Hodgson dissolved belief and kept playing down the players, but the fans should know better and have more faith in players who have proved themselves in the past. You dont become **** just like that. You just dont.

Yep. Obviously a handful of players should be shipped out but that's the nature of football. No overhaul, just a few to go and 3 or 4 new players and we're away.

Had a lot to get off my chest.

****ing great atmosphere in the away end today, brilliant spirit, loads of singing and the usual mental kind of 'people going flying over your head' for the 1st two goals Love it.

Two home games in a row now, need to keep the momentum going and pick up 6 points. If things go the way we want, and this season anything is possible, there may still be something to play for.

If we can get a couple of good signings this window, and then maybe two or three more in the summer, we'll be in good shape.

It's mad that a simple win at a ****ty side like Wolves has this impact, but i'm ****ing buzzing

And plus, Chelsea and City both lost there, so to go there and dispatch (i like that word) Wolves the way we did, we extremely satisfying.

And to the fella who was asking why they were booing Pepe (i think the question was asked in the match thread) - the reason is that home game against Wolves around Christmas 2009 when one of their players committed a foul and Pepe ran from his goal to put his point across to the ref - who eventually sent off the Wolves player, which changed the game.

So basically, the Wolves fans have a beef with Reina because he ran from his goal, to the other end, to point out to the ref how to do his job, because the ref was being clueless at it.

Lets not get too carried away Craig, this win will mean nothing if we fail to win on Wednesday night.

As for Raul, he played well, yeah but to say he's received criticism from the odd divvy is a bit silly really, when:
                No1) it's much more than a few
No2) it's been well justified, if you're bottling tackles and mis-placing passes on a regular basis that's what happens, don't kick up a fuss about it
No3) you said he was poor in the United match a few weeks ago so you're criticising him yourself, no? or maybe it's alright for you to but no-one else?

Defended as a unit, spirit was there again, confidence slowly returning, good tempo. Delightful.

So delighted for Meireles, he's had some criticism from the odd divvy, but he's a class act and he's still adjusting, but he stamped his authority on today's game superbly. Seemed to almost be playing a bit of a free role in the 2nd half and he influenced things more than anyone.

Goal last week, great assist and superb goal this week - he's going to be a wonderful player and will hopefully start proving the wallies wrong.

And also, for all those in the match thread slating the team and coming out with all the negative drivel before we'd even kicked off today, how about showing a little faith in future before chucking the toys out the pram.

All this OTT talk of 'massive overhauls' and other such ****e has been just that - melodramatic and kneejerk.

The bulk of this squad, when guided properly, are plenty good enough to challenge for a top four place. A couple of quality additions and we have enough to challenge for the title. The key is using the right system, adopting a proper winning mentality and knowing how to interact properly with the players, in order to make them feel 10 foot tall, and make them believe.

Kenny has that in abundance, the whole 'magic wand' thing with Torres proved that. He makes the players believe in themselves, he gets them thinking that they're all brilliant and he makes them enjoy their football.

It was never about major overhaul. It was ALWAYS about recognising the quality in the players we do have and having a manager who knows how to get it out of them - Kenny is that man.

Some will say "it's only Wolves" - but it was only Wolves who guffed us at anfield, it was only Stoke who beat us comfortably at their place, it was only Blackburn who ripped us at Ewood.

The proper Liverpool would regularly go to places like Wolves and win comfortably, with something to spare - that was what we did today. We were never in any genuine trouble and i'd even go as far as to use the word 'easy'. It was easy today because we played the way we should and the way we can - all courtesy of a proper manager who knows what he is doing. Doesnt matter that he'd been out of the game so long, man-management hasnt changed, confidence building hasnt changed, keeping the ball and creating chances hasnt changed, instilling belief hasnt changed, and getting a squad unified with good spirit hasnt changed.

Kenny's the man and if people give him time, he'll show everyone that this squad doesnt need a major overhaul at all. Just some tweaking and a bit of work in the mentality side of things.

****ing have that Sky, you ****s. Have that all you Hodgson bumming ****ers. Have that all the nay-sayers. And anyone else who wants it.

Kenny's back. Liverpool are on their way back. With the owners backing, we'll be back before too long.

Who's that coming up the hill boys? You know who. I know who. The media know who. And they hate it.

The Reds are coming up the hill, boys.

                    ****ing well have that.

I dont think it was easy today,we gave away alot of possesion in dangerous areas and unecessary free kicks and corners. It just needed one of those to go in and it would have been squeeky bum time.

I agree it was nice to win and our movement and general mentality has increased so much in the last few weeks. This I believe this is all down to Kenny. We still have a lot of work to do,especially in central defence and midfield.

Poulsen is rubbish and should never wear a red shirt again.Kuyt also isnt doing enough, albeit he had done well for the 3rd even if it was a fortunate riccochet(spelling). He had a one on one earlier I believe which he should have done better with.

I thought Mereiles was very good and Lucas just does everything so well at the moment.Kelly had another excellent game at right back and has already made the position his own. With Gerrard and Carra coming back we will improve even more I believe so it's looking quite promising at the moment

Add a few top quality players and I agree,we are coming back .

Also to have a pop at people who voiced there opinions in the match thread is a bit rich coming from you.

A week without games can do wonders sometimes. The understanding between players will be better and better. Not really surprised about the result.

Another excellent game by Lucas. We simply don't need a midfield enforcer. We already have one in Lucas. Meireles showed yet again that he is an excellent signing now when he is played in his right position.

Torres is Torres and is simply world class when he is played to his strengths and not his weaknesses.

Agger showed that he can be the leader of our defence.

Ok, so there's a lot of divvies in your divvy club then. Still divvies.

As for getting carried away - i'm not. But this is the kind of game we've been losing in abundance this season. And today, we didnt just 'nick it', we controlled the game, even dominated it, and won with ease. The point is, it's the return of the proper LFC and compared to the **** Hodgson turned us into, it's not getting carrtied away to be delighted that all the signs are returning again.

Re your point 2 - no it hasnt been at all justified, that's the whole point. It's all about faith and belief, as opposed to just ditching your players and hanging them out to dry. It's about trusting them and being patient. Being SUPPORTIVE. Anyone slightly knowledgable about football knows that Meireles is a very good player and knows that very good players, even if they arent doing everything the way we want, generally tend to come good. Regarding the 'bottling tackles' thing, again, you have to have more faith than that. Bottling tackles isnt Meireles' game, he isnt like that. If you've not seen him play much before and dont know too much about his game, then fair enough - but in which case, dont make rash judgements.

Firstly, re the Rafael tackle at OT, i dont blame him for pulling out of that, if you're 60 yards from your own net and some cunt is flying in off the ground two footed, i dont blame you for not putting your leg right in there to be snapped.

Secondly, there's been talk of his having a bit of a niggle recently, and i do remember him picking up a knock in a game not too far back. So from that perspective, it's entirely understandable that he may not be entirely strong enough again, or even confident enough to put his foot in all the time, just yet. As i say, have a little patience and trust.

Re point 3 - criticising is one thing. Saying he was poor is one thing. Coming out and calling him a pussy, is ****ing bull****. Childishly changing the way you spell his name to something derisory, is frankly pathetic. It's the sort of thing opposition fans do to players at rival clubs, not what a player's own fans should do. Do you think manc fans went around calling their £32m striker 'berbatoss' or 'berbacunt' etc when he was playing poorly? And i'm not talking about in the heat of the moment at a game, i mean in the cold light of day when you're calm and discussing things, eg on a forum.

There's a difference between criticism and downright abusiveness. I'm sure you're intelligent enough to know that, even if you dont always show it on here.

Re Meireles - I gave Hodgson no end of stick for playing him out of position, both on the right and off a striker, where he looked poor. He had an advanced, free-ish role today and for the first time in that role was outstanding. I'd prefer to see Raul drop back into CM in midweek, with Gerrard off Nando. Or they can alternate if needs be. Point is Raul looked a fish out of water playing on the right and I'm sure as **** we won't see that again. He's becoming a big player for us and has to stay central.

On the drive back (took me 30 mins to do one ****ing mile, from the carpark i parked in thanks to ****ty city-centre stadiums ) i was wondering about how we can drop Meireles back a bit so he is alongside Lucas, but still manage to get the best of him from an attacking perspective, and at the same time, somehow not lose protection for the back four.

                              Any ideas?
