So Fernando has been disinterested all season. Torres 9 PL goals; Pavlychenko 5 + Crouch 1 + Defoe 0 + Keane 0 = total 6 from Spurs forwards
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Also...doesn't seem to have been mentioned but I thought Maxi had another decent game today. We played some good stuff on a pudding of a pitch, with Maxi often involved. If we carry that form into the next two home games, on a good surface, I'm certain we'll come away with two convincing wins.

Meireles had a good game for the second week running, which may raise a slight question about how to use Steven Gerrard when the captain returns from suspension. It shouldn’t be too much of an issue, though – Meireles is not really a player who plays ‘in the hole’, he doesn’t offer a great amount of creativity, and is at his best when played alongside a sitting midfielder (Lucas) and a more naturally attacking player (Gerrard), in a box-to-box role
Was how he played with Porto and how he plays with Portugal. Makes me wonder what might have happened had Rafa bought him as opposed to Aquilani. As that was the role Alberto was brought in for.

Was impressed with Maxi YET AGAIN, he's a class act and as i've said before, if he was 2 years younger and had pace, he'd be a £20m player.

He's been good on such a consistent basis this season, that when i see him play well again, it's just the norm

What was? Not 'in the hole' surely? That's not his natural game at all, even though he excelled in it today.

Pretty much that call decided the game.

Initially I thought she got it totally wrong but after the replay I realized she was absolutely spot on.

I'm dont think he's including you in that. He's probably referring to fans who dont do pisstaking and derisory mis-spellings of players' names.

Talk for that long and you're invariably gonna put your foot in it, and Roy obliged every time.

The stuff Kenny says couldn't be scripted any better.
                            Totally true mate.

If only NESV had grown a set and binned Roy after we lost 2 nil to the bitters who knows where we would end up.

Although we will undoubtedly suffer the odd setback it is amazing the belief Kenny has instilled in the players after only 2 weeks in.

I agree wholeheartedly with the majority of posts on here, we have shown today that we are not a bad team, and with a bit more competition throughout the squad could be a really good team. A three nil away form home is a great result for a team who had only won away once this season. You could see the players belief grow as the game progressed.

Good stuff, looking forward to the next game for the first time in ages. What Roy did to this club and to Torres had me questioning my enjoyment of football, so it is great to be looking forward to MOTD again.
