Good for a couple of goals per season too.
And usually one or two for goal of the season contention, what a left foot that boy's got.

Re. Riise. Unfortunately can't defend for toffee, which in all honesty, is what that position is primarily about.

What would you know you degenerate junkie? No one gives a **** what you think.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was that not what Merson said about Johnson, he couldn’t defend for toffee? I might have slightly paraphrased the reply.

I got it, once you explained it.

Funnily enough, I see Glojo being exactly the same problem. Just different feet.

                          And not ginger.

Well I’ve been known to stand up for Johnson, think he gets an unnecessary bad press at times. In saying that, I did the same for Riise before his last season, so I’m hardly a good judge.

I did think it was a steady performance from Johnson on Saturday though, and with his new hair style, I hope it’s a sign of things to come.

GJ should be a midfielder, or right back in a Hoddle 5-3-2 system.
