It's been a while since I've looked at the table. I work with a Wolves fan and asked him if he fancied the double. I guess just the thought put the mockers on for him. But that was a good win and had sod all to do with luck. The passing was crisp and incisive.

Hughes will be taking all this assention into consideration no doubt, and plant 11 behind the ball.

Why? He is an excellent player who rarely loses the ball and offers a lot going forward.

Interesting stats on Maxi. He has started every time we have won in the league this year, bar against West Brom when we didn't score until after he came on the pitch. We haven't won a game when he hasn't started and lost 4 of our ten games without him. A very much undervalued player if you ask me, I thought he got himself in some wonderful positions on Saturday and Kuyt should have scoed when Maxi put him clean through with a lovely pass.

I think Maxi is on the same wave length as Torres so for that reason alone he'd be in my team. I'm not a massive fan and ideally he'd be an option of the bench long term. But in our current squad he's the best available option for LM.

Cole is a waste of wages. I've seen nothing since well before the SA World Cup hype to suggest otherwise.
