You’ve omitted the FA bit, has that changed? I definitely remember that was relevant in our case. Initially UEFA wanted our FA to make a decision and decide if it should be us or Everton who went through, but after they modified the rules was it still not left to the decision of the domestic FA? I remember at the time thinking it was odd, then wondering if it would be worthwhile offering a place for the FA cup instead of 4th. Anyone confirm if this is the case or do UEFA have the final say?

    Class!!

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

They're in order of who I would play there. Depending on fitness or in Warnock's case, actually signing. I suspect you already know that though.

That's what I expect to see also. Only exception would be GJ in for Kelly but I prefer your line up

          On the CL issue:

It has now changed from when Liverpool last won the CL in 2005.

If the CL winners come 5th, 4th place now misses out.

Say Chelsea come 5th, but won the CL, and spurs finished 4th, Chelsea would qualify and Spurs would miss out.

          --

Also, if someone from the top 4 wins the CL, there is no extra CL place. the only time someone not from the top 4 will qualify is if they win the CL.
          Forwards.......

I've found that there aren't so many pubs with foreign football channels around anymore, I used to know a couple in Edinburgh but they aren't around anymore so I'm afraid I can't help.

                Good luck in your search

We’ve always been on Sky when I’ve been in Scotland but I thought most bars in the UK now show the foreign channels anyway. I don’t even think they are ‘dodgy’ anymore, do they not pay a licence? One stumbling block may be that the Celtic match is on that night, but I imagine you shouldn’t have to stray too far from your accommodation to find somewhere.

In general or in Scotland? I can't remember ever having much problem getting to watch the match when away anywhere, although not sure if I've ever had to rely on a foreign feed. Most bars here in Belfast have the Italian Sky Sports, some even in HD.

So a Rangers Pub won't be showing that right ! That could be the clue he's looking for

Just in general, a few years back there I used to be able to find pubs showing most matches, now to me at least it seems much more difficult for games that aren't on (UK) Sky or ESPN.

**** one. Hadn’t missed a single live match in about 6 years before Roy took over thanks to the foreign channels. Just don’t like streaming at all, so lucky they are shown in most bars here.

Do Scottish people and the Welsh, for that matter, qualify as Poms? I thought that particular term of endearment was reserved for us English.

                                Serious question.
