One thing i love about Suarez, is the same thing everyone hated about him in the summer - his insatiable winning mentality.

Say what you will about the handball in the world cup, but for me, it proves he puts winning ahead of anything else. He has that attitude, he wont settle for anything less than winning. I love this.

Also the biting thing - not that it's good But it shows a bit of 'attitude' and 'ego' - and these things again, some may say arent good. And in some respects, they'd be right. But in terms of a 23 year old moving to a new country, new league, new club, new culture, new langauage etc - having a bit of attitude and ego should mean he's more likely to be able to take things in his stride, have confidence, and not be overawed or phased.

I like players with ego and confidence, bordering on cockyness. They are usually winners.

You mean in much the same way that Ronaldo and Drogba love to win by diving like cunts?

Diving isnt quite the same as being on the goal line, in the final minute of a World Cup knockout match, knowing that if the ball goes in, it's all over.

Discuss on Radio last night by a Dutch football expert?

He said 'Yes he does whatever it takes to win' - did not say dive and cheat

Depends how extreme it is thou. Sulking around no effort or Gung ho?

****in sure - we've been too much of a soft touch over the years - need to start giving refs a harder time and taking no **** of anyone. Carroll and Suarez don't seem to be shy and retiring types to me.

I can remember many a time watching us play at Old Trafford and when a decision was being contested you'd see Scholes, Ferdinand, Fletcher and Rooney, Evra to name but 5 surrounding the Ref putting him under pressure.
                - Carra would be the only man for Liverpool to do the same thing.

You see the power Fergie has over Refs and officials, he ****s with their heads via comments in the media.

Just wish it was the same at Liverpool.

Meh, we need to do it regardless.

Suarez is definitely softening the blow of losing Nando. Sounds like he is going to be a big player for us. Thanks El Pistollero!!

£23m and he is used as a storyteller. Nice.

The club are hoping he grows out of the biting if he hangs around children at that stage.
