Im not judging him after 6 games, iv watched Suarez a lot in the dutch league with Ajax and also at the world cup. He was a class act before he joined us and will just get better. His strike rate was also better than Torres. One year he was the top goalscorer in Europe. I know some will argue about the standard of Dutch league but remember Torres didn't score a whole load in Spain (18,19 a season). It was only when he came to England he really took off.

Actually he wasn't. It was his countryman Furlan who was the winner of the European Golden Boot twice. He hasn't won it yet.

His strike rate is better than Nando (102 goals in 166 games vs. 147 goals in 316 games) but you cannot discount the fact that standards of Uruguay First Division and Eredivisie are not nearly as high as La Liga and PL.

Alfonso Alves scored 45 in 39 games with Heerenveen and Kuyt scored 71 in 101 with Feyenoord and by that token they would be better strikers than Torres and that is just not the case.

Perhaps one day he'll prove he's better striker than Nando but he needs to do that in PL first.

What a start to his Liverpool career - couldn't have gone any better really.

Just looks a class act does Suarez. hard working, skillful, intelligent, knows where the net is. Can't ask for much more.
