Think this is a case of a few ppl putting 2 and 2 together here and getting 7.
The coverage I saw showed Suarez coming off and Raul seems to call to him and then he's laughing at him. That's the facts and it is strange behaviour no ? Kenny did shake his hand and considering his star player just came off injured he doesn't seem at all concerned.

You put two and two together with that evidence and what do you get Rudo ? Have you seen the tape? Your conclusions then if you have seen it ?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He's clearly been asked to fake the injury and come off as Kenny/others don't want him to play against Estonia and Ireland because he might get injured. You can tell it's planned as Kenny smiles/shakes his hand and doesn't even acknowledge the fact he's injured/limping. Also, why would Meireles burst out laughing if his team mate was really injured. The injury isn't even listed on the club website - funny that considering almost every injury gets put on there.

I feel sorry for Suarez - I've seen a documentary on him where he talks about his delight in playing for Uruguay. Bit unfair to tell a player of Suarez's quality to fake an injury so he can't play for his national team regardless of whether it's a friendly or not...and both of Uruguay's matches are away so it's not like he has a 13 hour flight either! ..and we don't have a game for two weeks so would be good to get match fitness up.

I hope this is a one off and Kenny et al are only worried because of the numerous injuries Torres got with Spain. I could understand if Suarez got injured a lot but he only missed a few games whilst playing for Ajax.
Balls - all pure speculation on your part. Believe what you want.

Rubbish. Live in denial if you want...common sense backs up what "pure speculation" I and many others infer from actually watching the match. Given past national call-up injuries it makes sense.

Liverpool FC’s Luis Suarez loving the pace and power of the Premier League

LIVERPOOL striker Luis Suarez admits he’s loving the physical nature and breakneck speed of the Premier League.

The Uruguay international has enjoyed a hugely impressive start to his Anfield career after arriving in a £22.8million deal from Ajax in January.

Suarez scored on his debut against Stoke before inspiring a memorable 3-1 victory over Manchester United.

Last weekend’s stunning individual strike in the win at Sunderland made it two goals in five appearances and the 24-year-old is adjusting fast to life in the English top flight.

“The pace of the Premier League is completely different to where I’ve played before,” he said.

“It’s unlike the Netherlands, it’s unlike Uruguay and it’s unlike playing in the World Cup.

“This is a big league and it’s got its own way of doing things.

“You have to be strong and be able to play very physically. You have to be able to adapt to the way the game is played.

“In other leagues defences play very tight but here you get space. I’m enjoying it.”

Suarez received a hero’s welcome when he returned to Ajax to say his goodbyes last month.

The Reds’ new No 7 is already on his way to earning similar cult status at Anfield and the backing of the supporters he plays for means a great deal to him.

He added: “It was very important for me to be able to go back to Ajax.

“I was always treated very well by the fans there The way they recognised me when I was leaving is something not many people get to experience.

“I was very lucky to experience that.”

Meanwhile, the agent of Rubin Kazan’s Cristian Ansaldi claims Liverpool are interested in signing the defender.

The versatile Argentinean, who has Italian citizenship, can play either left-back or right-back.

Pedro Aldave said: “There has been some informal market interest from Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.

“I think he pays for the fact he plays in Russia, otherwise he would be in the national team. His contract with Rubin Kazan expires in December 2012 and he has no buy-out clause.

“Cristian wants to go away. He would love to play in England, Italy or Spain

                  I'm not completely barking

If this is true which I've said previously we'll never know, it shows the shwredness of Kenny. Old whiskey nose has done the same with players for the last number of years. It's a slight shame as I was looking forward to seeing Suarez play in Dublin for Uruguay.

I think if it were anything other than 2 friendlies he'd travel regardless to support the team.

Would be great if somebody had the footage.

                        Suarez: I'm not a hero

Luis Suarez believes it is too early for him to be considered a 'real hero' by Liverpool fans.

The Uruguayan has made a massive impact in the handful of games he's played since signing for the Reds in January, scoring twice and providing a series of magical moments.

Proof of his instant adaptation to English football can be heard each time the Kop bellows its choral tribute to the tune of 'Just Can't Get Enough' by Depeche Mode.

"The only part of the song I can recognise is my name," he laughed as he spoke exclusively to LFC Weekly. "I think the fans at this club play a major role, bigger than at some other clubs.

"Although I might not understand what exactly they are singing, I know my name is mentioned. That's important to me.

"I've only been here a month-and-a-half and it's good to see the fans are happy. I came here to work hard for the team and to do my absolute best. If they are singing my name maybe it shows I'm doing my job well.

"But there are a lot of games and there is a lot of time to go before I am a real hero. It's too early for that."

The skills Suarez has displayed in his short time in England first came to the surface back home in Uruguay, where he'd play football with his older brothers and friends in the street or on any patch of land they could find.

"The games were tough, especially because I was eight or nine years old and playing against my brother Paolo's friends. They were 14 or 15, almost men. I was smaller and everyone got stuck in, but nobody went out to deliberately hurt someone else. If someone made a challenge that was too strong they would apologise."

So, does footballing talent run in the family?

"I'm not joking when I tell you I am the worst of all of us," our Suarez reveals.

"The best among us brothers works in a bakery business for a living. He plays regularly for fun. He's more skilful and gifted than the rest of us."

                              Suarez nets monthly award

Luis Suarez was today named the Standard Chartered LFC Player of the Month for March.

The Uruguayan tallied a remarkable 79 per cent of your vote in an exclusive poll on this website to comfortably see off competition from Dirk Kuyt and Pepe Reina.

Our new No.7's triumph is all the more impressive when you consider Kuyt netted a treble in the 3-1 victory over Manchester United.

In just two appearances this month Suarez has made a huge impact, having a hand in all three goals against the Red Devils and crashing home a sensational effort at the expense of Sunderland.

Upon being presented with the award at Melwood, the striker told Liverpoolfc.tv: "This is a great city and a great team, and I am very happy to be here.

"The people have treated me very well and it hasn't taken me long to settle in at all.

"It is a surprise to win this prize so early on because I have only been here for two months, but this award is really for the whole of the team and the hard work they've all put in."

Reflecting on his scintillating performance against United, Suarez added: "It's always a classic game against Manchester United and we always hope it goes well for us.

"Thankfully this time it did. The most important thing was to win - and I am glad to say we did.

"We all hope to finish in the top five. It's difficult, but it's important we play well in the next few games.

"Next year, hopefully we can do well, finish in the top four and get into the Champions League again."
