Why not, Suarez with Maxi, Gerrard and Kuyt in support will work fine.

I'm sure Suarez can play up top on his own.

Carroll is definitely out isnt he?

The one player that hasn't been given a go by Kenny is Ngog He has a good goal scoring record still

Won't be surprised to see this the more I think about it.

with carroll in the side, i'd like to see:

                    ------------carroll-------------
                    aurelio----gerrard-----suarez
                    ------lucas------meireles-----
                    johnson--agger--carra--kelly
                    -------------reina--------------

                    or:

                    ------------carroll--------------
                    suarez----gerrard----johnson
                    ------lucas------meireles-----
                    aurelio---agger--carra--kelly
                    -------------reina--------------

i'd like to see aurelio kelly and johnson playing in the side together to try and get the ball wide and deliver it to carroll with some regularit, with suarez playing as in inside forward.

                        probably not this soon

given that it's stoke, i'd probably like to see ngog play, and maybe take some emphasis off of pumping balls in and try to get suarez in behind the defence. maybe play kuyt on the right to try and latch on to some scrambled balls. with kuyt chasing and meireles lingering outside the box like for the everton goal we could pick something up there.

my bad. if he does play though, would like to see the above.

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. Don't know if Kenny will go with Suarez or Ngog up front. If he sees Suarez as a deep/ 2nd/wide type striker, he may well play Ngog up front against Stoke and then with Carrol up front against the Chavs if he's fit. It would make better sense to play him in this where he sees him playing with Carrol IMO.

Playing him up front on his own one game and wide right the next game isn't a good way to help him settle is what I'm getting at ( albeit, slowly )

Don't think Kenny really rates N'gog to be honest.

                              Or Joe Cole.

I'd like to see the Ngog/Suarez pairing given a go. It could also work as part of a front three with either Dirk or Maxi.

It has appeared that way so far. But then I guess we had Torres, who in my view is tactically similar and clearly superior.
