Well, we'll find out on Wednesday night. If N'gog doesn't get minutes tomorrow then I think it's safe to assume Kenny doesn't see him as part of his plans.

Think i read that Carroll was due back in training for the barcodes yesterday.

Surely could play a part on Sunday then? Nearly a week after he was deemed fit enough to resume training.

Pardew said that hopefully our medical staff will give us some info on it soon.

Which is a shame as he's a pretty handy back up striker.

Physio Room has him at 5th Feb. So expect him to be fit after the Chelsea game.

He's due back running in a week & they'll take it from there. He's been signed for 5 and a half years so I'm not too bothered.

Would have loved him to make his debut against Stoke but what will be will be.

so 4 weeks will mean he's back for the Wigan game or later the West Ham game.. Debut goal would be nice.

Have a sneaky feeling that N'Gog will have a blinder against Stoke. Not sure who will be dropped for him though.

Newcastle wanted him on loan in the summer. If we had of been able to let him go I wonder what the future would have held for Carroll then.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That would almost bring us to March whiich makes you wonder if it really was necessary force through the sale yesterday and pay well over the odds.
