If Suarez doesn't start IMO this should be the team. I think Maxi has been a much better option on the left than Cole, i'd love to think that Johnson could play RM, but that is never going to happen, and Aurelio at LB represents a more balance back line IMO.
Kuyt has been dreadful this season but Ngog will get bounced around by the Stoke back line, Kuyt much better suited to the rough and tumble and work horse approach. Whether Suarez starts or not surely we'll definitely see him, but he hasn't played in quite awhile so might not be there from the start. But sure if he starts the line up IMO should be:
Such a pity about Carroll being injured, IMO if we had both strikers 100% fit and ready in Suarez & Carroll, i wouldn't even consider Kuyt for the first 11, not only has he been terrible for quite some time now, but the guy looks knackered. I know he's slow but it looks like he has 20 pound weights attached to his legs, he needs a rest.
Attacking wise Kuyt has been quite disappointing this year and as much as I like him I wouldn’t be too disappointed if he was rested for a game or two. At the minute though, I think Kenny sees him as a good shield in front on Kelly and for that reason alone I can’t see him being dropped for a while yet. Personally I’d be tempted to rest him tonight and play N’Gog, have him fresh for Chelsea who he played so well against earlier in the season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Liverpool's new signing Luis Suarez is expected to make his debut, but £35m recruit Andy Carroll will have to wait for his first appearance due to injury.
Jamie Carragher remains on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.
Stoke will again be without Danny Higginbotham due to his hamstring problem.
Defender Ryan Shawcross serves the final match of a two-game suspension following his sending off against Fulham.
Wasn't it Snoogy Doogy if I remember correctly - I can still picture Gillett swaggering around the pitch in Athens around the time they came out with it. Wot a dick!

Carragher still out, i can't see him starting on sunday then.
I expect a big game from Skrtel tonight. Despite his personal performances not being great, he should still take confidence from two consecutive clean sheets and needs to make a big impression now Carra is breathing down his neck.
