Average number of crosses per match?

I'm curious on the number of crosses into the box we make per match compared to say Chelsea, Tottenham or Man Utd?

I ask this as I've just endured the latest load of cock custard from Paul Merson - http://www.skysports.com/opinion/0,25219,15205,00.html

Do we hardly cross the ball?

I'd like to add that his observations about Suarez are also bollocks and totally blind to his movement off the ball.

Merson as ever speaks some sense but mixes it up with rubbish. He's no different from anyone you would speak to down the pub and as he's supposed to be a top football analysis it does make me laugh.

Liverpool do cross the ball, but of course if you sign Andy Carroll we will cross the ball more as he's a massive threat in the air. I think in the summer wingers will be a priority and maybe next year is the time we'll see the best of Carroll. But Kuyt knows how to cross a ball, as does Kelly and Johnson so he'll still get some good service.
      Forwards.......

So do Gerrard, Meireles and Maxi.

Also, I don't think we will go looking for wingers as the are becoming rare to say the least. We'll imo, look for more versatile attacking wide players.

I don't think I've ever seen crossing stats, I guess you could look a passes stats on the Guardian chalkboards over a few games and pick out the ones that are crosses, it would be fairly tedious to do
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
